Icarus may have fallen because he did not listen. But he didn't scream. Oh no Icarus awaited death. Dying in Zeus's domain. Would that get across to those who thought Zeus was great and didn't do anything wrong? Or would his death be taken the wrong way? This he wondered. Would they assume his death was because of his own recklessness and not a message that Zeus was not to be trusted?
As he fell he listened to his father screaming trying to save him. Icarus knew that it would be of no help.
He stared at the sun. He wept for the sun god (Before you scream at me as far as I know Helios was a titan so chill) who had lost everyone he took a love interest in. Were they all fated to die? Icarus wondered. Would Apollo blame himself for Icarus's death as it was the sun that melted the wax?
He fell and blacked out. As he regained his conscious he woke in the underworld greeted by none other than Hades.
"You may have tried Icarus and for that, I will reward that for trying to bring light to my brother's crimes but not until a later date will they realize my brother is not a good God."

So this isn't accurate to the myth of Icarus so don't get mad at me I just wanted to write this because it seemed like a good idea. And it's short sorry about that
