Valentines Movie

You were on John's bed reading your favorite book when you heard a soft and quiet knock at his door. "Y/N, are you in here?" you heard your lovers sweet voice ask. You put your book on the bedside table and got up to open the door only to see John's soft smile. You couldn't complain.

"I've got us a movie for tonight" he said shyly. He pulled it out of a plastic bag, handing it to you. The title read "The Way We Were". It was a romance you've never heard of before, but you were sure it was going to be amazing because John picked it out. You read the back, getting a small idea of what the movie was about. "This sounds great, love." you said while tugging his arm, pulling him into the room. "It may not be much.. but I promised I'd do something for you this Valentines" he said, holding your hands out in the front of the two of you. "I appreciate it, John." you said as you pecked his cheek. Every little thing you did to him made his cheeks red and he'd always try to hide it. You loved every small detail about him.

You walked over to the bed and invited him to sit next to you. John put the disc into the DVD player and got the movie set up then joined you on the side of the bed. "Should I get snacks?" you asked him, standing back up. "Yeah, yeah go ahead" he responded with a smile spread across his face. You hurried downstairs because every moment away from John was painful. You quickly made a couple glasses of tea and grabbed a bag of pre-popped popcorn and scurried back upstairs.

When you got back to the room, you saw what looked like a shrine on your bedside table. Candles, flowers, pictures of you and John flooded the table nicely. You looked down at John, who was sitting on the bed with a teddy bear in his arms. He got up and gave the bear to you, walking behind you to hug you from behind. "Theres a button in there. Press it and it will play a message" he whispered into your ear as he pulled you into a hug. Once you pressed it, he stopped hugging you.

"Y/N", the bear's speaker said,"I love you so much and I never want to lose you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to be yours forever." grinning hard, you put the bear down. You turn around to John kneeling with a small box in his hand.
