Letting a yawn escape your lips, you stretch your arms up, bumping your elbow into your boyfriend's cheek.
"Ow! (Name)~" he whines playfully, hugging your closer to his body.
The two of you are at your house for the weekend, since your parents were out of town. Currently, you are cuddled up together on the couch; Dagger snuggling your smaller frame against his and nuzzling his face into the back of your neck.
"Sorry!" you giggle, your hands moving to hold his on your waist.
"You know," he suddenly stops rubbing your neck and rests his head on your shoulder, "If your dad found out-"
"Dagger. Let's not go there tonight."
Your dad hates Dagger since he's an orphan, he's missing a limb, he lives with a bunch of other teenagers and young adults and works with a local circus in his free time. Your dad says you should do better than a 'lowlife scum that feeds off of our taxes.' To say the least you didn't talk to him much after he said that, at least for a good week.
Dagger nuzzles his nose in your hair, "Sorry, sorry..."
"Hey, (Name)? Are you getting sleepy?"
You stifle a yawn and nod a little.
"You know, I heard that bubble bath help you wake up," he says, turning you around to look you directly.
You feel your cheeks heat up, "W-what are you implying?"
"Let's take a bath together, (Name)!"

"Come one, (Name)! The water's going to get cold i you wait any longer!"
How did Dagger even manage to talk you into this. You stand in a corner, with a towel wrapped around your body while Dagger happily sits in the warm, bubbly water. The bubble nearly reach his face. You had told him that he was putting too much bubble soap in...
"Here!" He covers his eyes with his hands, "Does that make you feel better?"
You try to form words, but you end up stuttering out random syllables. You breath deeply, "Y-Y-Yeah... j-just stay... l-like that."
You quickly shuffle to the side of the tub, drop your towel and slink into the comforting warmth of the bath waters.
"Alright, y-you can u-uncover your... eyes, D-Dagger."
He moves his hands away and smiles hugely at you, before scooping up some bubbles and blowing them at you.
"Hey! Dagger!" You cry out, swatting the bubble away.
When you stop waving your hands, you come face-to-face with Dagger, whose face is mere millimetres from yours. Your face lights up with a vibrant blush and you try to avoid Dagger's teal gaze and sink lower into the bubbles. Dagger chuckle and kisses your nose before moving back to his side of the tub.
"You're so cute, (Name)~"
You look away and focus on the counter of the bathroom. Shyly glancing back to Dagger, you see him with his arms wide open. Making a questioning noise in the back of your throat, Dagger's smile grows.
"I wanna hold you!"
Cheeks ablaze, you dip down so your mouth is covered by bubbles and mumble to yourself, risking a look up at the boy across from you. He still has the dumb grin on his face and his arm outstretched. Sighing, you sit up a little and hesitantly slide yourself closer to him.
The moment you're in arms reach, he grabs your shoulders, turns you around and pulls your close to his body. You let out a yelp. You can feel his steady breathing against your back and he raises his knee up and out of the water next to you, the stump of his right leg pressed into your side. You try to move away so your bodies weren't squished together, but he just holds your waist and snuggles your neck."D-Dagger!"
"Hm? What's wrong, (Name)?"
"Y-Y-you... W-We... Y-You're t-t-too cl-close!"
"Aw, (Name), just relax! I won't try anything, I just don't want my love to be stressed," he kisses the back of your neck lightly, and you can't help but to ease into his embrace.
"I love you, Dagger. Thank you."
"I love you, too, (Name)!"
