Miraculous Re-Write

Beginning

It was a dark night in the streets of Paris.  College kids Marinette and Adrien were taking a romantic walk together.  Ever since they had started dating they had wanted to spend every second together.  As they were walking they walked past a shop that they had never seen before.  They had decided to go in.  The whole shop was empty except for a ring and a pair of earrings.  They looked cool so they decided to buy them.  They left the shop.  After Marinette put on her earrings and Adrien put on his ring.  There was a weird feeling inside of them.  "I have a weird stomach ache, I think its hunger.  Let's get something to eat" Marinette said.  "Yeah, good idea," Adrien said.

The next day Marinette woke up just like a normal day.  She got out of bed and saw a mouse on the floor.  She screamed.  "Shut up," the mouse said.  "You can talk?" Marinette said.  "Yeah, and I'm also not a mouse, even though I may look like one," it said "I am a Kwami, those earrings that you got last night, those give you superpowers.  That weird feeling was power.  I possess those earrings, as weird as it may sound and that is what gives you the powers."  Marinette said, "What about my boyfriend Adrien, he bought a ring, does he have powers too?".  "Yes," the Kwami said.  "I have so many questions.  I should probably talk with him about this" Marinette said.  So she ran to go find Adrien

Adrien woke up the same way, normally.  He also found a weird mouse thing by his bed.  He wasn't scared though.  "How did a mouse get in my dorm?" he said.  "Hey, I'm not a mouse.  I define as a Kwami, as weird as it sounds." the Kwami said.  " Do you want the short explanation or the long one?" "I'll take the short one," said Adrien "  I possess that ring and give you superpowers that allow you to destroy things."  said the Kwami  "Whoa, that was short.  Let's grab breakfast and talk about this superpower thing," Adrien said

Marinette ran to Adrien's dorm room.  She couldn't find him.  She then ran all over campus.  She was hungry so she ran to a local cafe to get a bite to eat.  She ended up finding him on his way back.  "So you found a Kwami?" Marinette said "Yeah," said Adrien. "Well, it's not like there is a supervillain in the city to fight."  Little did he know that he was wrong.
