It was about 5:14 as I walked thru the cold damp sand. The waves crashing against each other, the seagulls screeching as they fought over food and the magnificent sun rising just over the horizon. I stopped and looked up as the rising sun, I could feel tears trickling down my face and dripping on to my salmon pink beach dress as it flowed in the morning breeze. I rapped my fist tighter around my locket that held a small picture of me and my older sister Melleny. I had lost my sister to a storm a few days back on this same beach right in front of me. She was what I considered my only family, she was always there for me and was the only one who looked after me when our mom left when we were quite Yong. I kicked off my sandals and started to walk towards the water as my sun hat lifted off my head with the wind and joined my sandals on the beach. The cold ocean water splashing my feet as I walked further in to the water. I started to swim out further and further from shore until my drenched clothes made it impossible to continue any more.
"I'm coming Melleny." I said as I let my body go limp in the crisp sea water.
As I sank to the bottom I could see how beautiful the sun light was through the surface of the water. I shut my eyes, when I woke up I found myself cradled in warm loving arms. as I looked up I saw that it was non-other than Melleny! Without hesitation I lifted myself up and hugged her tighter than I have ever hugged some one before.
"I love you Melleny"I said as I started to cry with joy, for I was back with Melleny.
