Chapter 9: Convinced

"You like him." Majelle concluded. Nasa kwarto ko kami ngayon. I'm playing my guitar and she's bothering me because she's bored. =_____=

"You definitely like him!" She shouted as she goes through the photos again.

May mga hawak kasi siyang photos na binigay nanaman saakin ni Andy last time na nagkita kami. Photos of me, and photos of him na ako yung kumuha gamit yung camera niya.

I stopped strumming and looked at her.

"No." I mouthed at her..

"Aaaarghh!" She laid her back on my bed.

"When will you realize that?!!" She shouted hopelessly. I giggled. Bigla siyang napaupo while looking at me.

O.O ---> her face

I raised my eyebrows and she held her mouth open.

"You giggled!" She pointed at me.

=______= Whats up with giggling? I always do that!

"Oh. My. Gosh. I really think Andy—being your friend, is very helpful! Biruin mo nakakatawa kana! You know, he told me he was planning to help you." She smiled widely.

Really? He was? I smiled at the thought.

"See? You like him. Kinikilig ka oh. Deny pa more, girl.." :P She stuck her tongue out.

Ugh! -_- Do I really like him?! I mean, he's vain and he's a teaser, and he's a gentleman, and sweet, and softhearted, and hot, and ravishingly cute, and undeniably handsome and, and..

Ugh! Erica! >____< Why the heck are you fangirling?!

I palmed my forehead at that thought. /-____-

"So, have you convinced yourself?" She asked while eating chocolates.. I did not answer her but i was about to grab a chocolate in the bowl pero nilayo niya..

"Hep hep! Say A-e-i-o-u.." She teased. I crossed my arms and pouted at her.

"I'm trying to help you here!" She proclaimed.

We heard someone knock and opened the door. It was mom.

"Your uniform's here." She placed it in the cabinet.

"Tita Alice! Erica giggled.. narinig ko." Sabi ni Majelle.

"Really?" Tanong niya na parang namangha.

I didnt even know I could already do that. Maybe I'm really learning.. I smiled.

"Keep on doing what youre doing, Majelle.." She said as she turned away.

"Tita feeling ko hindi ako yung dahilan eh." Majelle faced me.

"Yieeeeeeeeeee!" She teased me. Mom turned to look at us and I did nothing but to roll my eyes.

"At sino naman, aber? Who's encouraging my baby?" She smiled at me. I shook my head in disbelief. -______-

"Is it your 'guy friend'?" She asked again.

"No." I mouthed but Majelle interrupted.

"Yes, tita! Yieeeee!!" Sabi mi Majelle.

Okay, I'm feeling like sh*t. =____="

Napahiga nalang ako sa kama pero nagulat ako nang sabihin ni Mom yung words na sinabi niya before she closed the door.

"I look forward in meeting him, Ghael.."

"I think mas bagay sayo tong black dress. Mas lalabas yung pagkaputi mo.." Sabi saakin ni Majelle.

We are now in a store and we're looking for dresses because she and my mom planned to have a dinner date with Andy tonight. I definitely disagree with the idea knowing that I would not speak and they would do all the talking. =______=

Pero okay narin 'to para mas makilala nila si Andy. He was actually excited when Majelle talked to him using my phone last night. And he agreed.

"Ano mas bagay saakin?" I was back to my senses when I heard Majelle's voice. I pointed at the pink one because its more simple and cute.

We were done doing some shopping but I did not want to go home yet so pinilit ko si Majelle na magpa'salon and magpaayos ng nails.

"Wow, di halatang excited ka ha." She teased again. I just rolled my eyes. I'm still a girl, you know. :p

After those monthly rituals like going to salon, we finally decided to go home.

"See you later, sis!" She kissed me on the cheeks and went inside the car para ihatid siya ni manong Eddie.

I went upstairs and inside my room para makapagpahinga ulit. Ang aga kasi akong ginising ni Majelle para mamili eh.

Time 12:01 pm

One message received:

Do you have a band-aid? -Andy

Eh? Why would he need one?

Sent:

Hmm, why? What happened?

Bakit niya kaya kailangan ng band-aid? Maybe he was cut or something..

One message received:

Because I wounded my knee when I fell for you. <3

*dug dug*

I felt my heartbeat racing when I smiled..

Okay, kinikilig na'ko! >_____<

Sent:

Haha. That's sweet. :>

I really find him dorky sometimes because of the overflowing sweetness in his choice of words.

One message received:

You're smile is sweeter, Princess.

His words knocked me down on my bed.. I rolled and rolled and found myself flattered as I imagined his gorgeous face infront of mine. By the thought, i squeeked.

Napatigil ako at hinawakan yung bibig ko. Sa sobrang kilig, i heard myself squeek.

Sent:

Stop enjoying my company, Augustus Waters. You are indeed making it hard for me to breathe. I have lung cancer, remember? :)

I joked. He is undeniably my type of Augustus Waters. I bit my lower lip to restrain myself from smiling widely.

One message received:

Hazel Grace, your sweet company is forcing mine to be with yours and that being with you is complete happiness. Its okay, I'll breathe for you. Do you want to hear a metaphor?

This is killing me. His words are stabbing me with sweetness.

Sent:

Yes, please.

One message recieved:

You are my prescribed Heroin. -Andy

I'm convinced. I really like my Augustus Waters..
