2: im so not sorry for that

"Hey black canary!" You shouted as you stumbled to get onto the training platform in the middle of the room. The blonde haired beauty turned to face you and smiled. "So, we really do have another one on the team, huh?" She tossed her hair casually and continued "to be honest, I thought flash was just spinning another tall tale." You shook your head and grinned. I'm going to be trained by the BEST trainer ever!! THE black canary!!! Your mind bubbled with exitment.

You ruffled your slightly messy hair back into its ponytail and sat down to listen to this lessons scenario. You stifled a yawn and instead focused on your hunger-there wasn't really much time to eat, and you figured you could grab something after training was over for the day. You swung your legs back and forth as you listened to canary say something about self defense. You hadn't much time to put anything on, so you were wearing tan cargo shorts, weighed down by two pocket knifes and a lock-pick-only held up by a black belt- a pair of old black converse with black and white checkered laces, and a maroon tank top. "(Y/n)!" You jumped up at the sound of your name and glanced up to see that black canary was gesturing twords you. "Youre up sister" wally teased after stepping off the platform himself.

You managed to climb up the steps-without tripping-and stand steadily in front of canary. "So" she began "you were walking through the park one day when suddenly! Someone grabs your shoulder" she took hold of your shoulder while saying this "and tries to mug you. What do you do?". You were dissapointed. She was going way to easy on you, because she thought you didn't know anything. You actually wanted to fight, to fit in! You grab her arm and swiftly have her in an arm breaking position, and then into a headlock. She looks mildly suprised, before smiling and you release her. "Huh. Your not as weak as you put off. How about something a little more advanced?" She grinned slyly, and before you could even react, she was in the air and coming twords you.

You barley jumped out of the way in time and skidded slightly to the side. She landed on the ground with barely a noise and came rushing at you. You quickly ducked to the side and attempted to trip her, instead she grabbed your leg and spun you around. "A mugger would not do this!!" You shouted and she simply laughed. You used the distraction to get out of her grip and jump away. A barrage of kicks and punches followed, most of which you managed to block. You retaliated with a short sequence of jabs and punches, none which did to much good. Canary hopped away and landed behind you, and you spinned to face her. She seemed sort of annoyed, but very patient. Oh..I need to take her down. You thought. Duh. So, instead of any fancy footwork or any of the like you simply ran twords her full on, no warnings. She seemed utterlly suprised and just barely ducked in time. Perfect you thought, and suddenly twisted in the air, grabbing shoulders, and twisting her to the ground in one fluid motion.

She got up swiftly of course, and you tensed back into a fighting stance, assuming another round was to come, but she simply smiled. "You're not too bad kid." She winked. You grinned widely "thanks mrs.ca-" she cut you off "while I appreciate the manners, just canary is fine." You nodded in response. "Well talk more later, I still have the others to get through. Go get cleaned up." She gave you a side long glance when she noticed you awkwardly shifting. "I'm sure wally will show you to the kitchen." Suddenly, he appearred at your side. "Sure thing canary" he said while staring at you, arm slung over your shoulder "Wally!" Canary barked, and he whipped his head around. You had no idea what she gestured, but when wally turned back his face was a little pale and his arm slid off your shoulders.

Wally POV

Geez what's taking her so long? I thought while pacing. Why do girls take such long showers anyways? And I thought I heard the water shut off like 20 minutes ago!!! Suddenly the door opened with a soft squeak and a cloud of steam. I sat down swiftly, pretending to read a comic book. "Took you long enough.." I mumbled. She simply laughed and pointed to the comic book. "Wha-?" It was upsidedown. My face immeadiatlly flushed red and I shut the book and set it down. "Whatever." She smiled and mimicked "took you long enough. I'm sure it did mr. Impatient." I huffed and finally looked up at her. She was wearing ripped jeans. Not skinny jeans, but regular jeans, and a black button up shirt with a pair of red suspenders and red converse hightops. Coupled with her glasses and clumsy tendancies, it...actually fit. And she looked really good. "So!" I suddenly stood up "how's about food?" I offered my elbow playfully and she took it very properly. "Sounds marvelous" I smirked and suddenly grabbed her "away we go then!" And off we sped twords the kitchen. Don't tell anybody this, but I really just wanted to hold her.

Your POV

We arrived in the kitchen in about 2 seconds. "JESUS" I exclaimed getting out of his grip, but hanging on to him, wobbly legged "Give me some warning next time, ok!?" But then I laughed and he grinned. "Here you are miss." He gestured twords the large kitchen and you whistled. "So, what do you guys have to eat?" You questioned, opening and closing random cabinets. "Uhmmm..." he trailed off. "Great help" you muttered and peered through all the cabinets, pantry, and fridge. "Do you guys not have any cookies?" He ummed again and you sighed. After fruitless efforts of trying to find a box or bag of cookies ANYWHERE you gave up. putting on a random apron you found and rolling up your sleeves you exclaimed "I'm going to make a cake."

He looked at you quizzically "I thought you said you wanted cookies?" You nodded "but you guys only have the ingredients for cake, plus I don't really have the patience for cookies." You began gathering ingredients while wally looked lost, and a little sad, suddenlly an idea popped up "hey!" You ran after him, and when he stopped suddenly you ran into his back. He caught you and once you had steadied yourself you asked "wanna help me?" He grinned "yeah! I mean, uh..sure, whatever." Superboy, walked through suddenly and you waved. "Hi!" You stated cheerfully. He looked slightly confused and replied with a "uhm..hi." and then walking away. "I am Determined to make him my friend..." you muttered and wally gave you puppy eyes "why not me?" You laughed. "I thought you were already my friend?" He smiled brightly, and then you both walked into the kitchen. "To baking!!" You shout.

"Uh, how many eggs are there?" "I don't know two? Three? Four?" "I put in six..." "dude!! Now I need more flour...right?" "Sugar too!" "No! We already put in too much sugar!!!" You were currently standing in the kitchen covered in an exploded flour bag and spilled sugar. You both were shoving random ingredients in a bowl, lacking any recipe. And though both of you were covered head to toe in grime and cake batter, you were smiling. "I think we need the flavoring now." You stated. "Uh..okay, here!" He handed you a random bottle of extract. "Peppermint!?" You questioned, laughing "hey, its the only one I could find!!!" "Oh, what the heck." You said while dumping and spoonful into the batter and mixing it togethor. Wally got out two pans and poured equal amounts into each. "I really hope this turns out ok!!" You mused.

"Done!" You exclaimed happilly "alright!!" Wally hi-fived you. "We finished!!" "Yeah, and it doesn't look half bad." "No it doesn't." You agreed. The cake was white on one half, and brown on the other-chocolate and vanilla frosting. When you origionally got it out of the oven it was burnt and lopsided, and smelled like something had died. But after you scraped all the burnt parts off, and cut it into a circle and iced it, it looked pretty okay. "Yeah!!!" You turned to see robin standing in the doorway "cool cake! Where'd ya buy it?" He asked, sneaking over to cut himself a peice. "We made it." You exclaimed proudly and robins eyes widened when he tasted it. "Wally cooked!?" He chewed "But its not terrible!!!" He seemed suprised, and wally glared. "Its good, right?" You asked hopefully and robin nodded. "Oh! By the way, batmans coming over soon. Said he want everyone there" he pointed towards you "you too (y/n)" you smiled exitedly as he walked away. My very first mission!?

Heyo, frost here. Someone ask for a new chapter? BAM coming at ya. Its not that good by my standards, but as the story progresses it'll get better and more actiony.
