May We Meet Again

Clarke's POV

Walking back with my people I knew I could never stay with them. Everyday I would see their faces and be reminded of what I had to do in Mount Weather. As everyone entered the gates back to Camp Jaha I pulled Bellamy aside.

"Bellamy, please promise me you will look after them. Promise me you will keep everyone safe."

He looked at me confused and worried, "Whoa whoa, hey Clarke whats that supposed to mean. I don't have to look after them for you, you'll be here for them."

I gave him a look, "No Bell, I won't be here. I just radiated that entire mountain, killed every last one of them. I can't be around these people without remembering that everyday for however long I live. Just please, look after them and promise you won't come looking for me."

He took a deep breathe, "Okay, I understand. Yeah, I'll look over them best I can with with the Chancellors watching my every move," we both laugh a little, "but seriously, how long will you be gone? Where will you go?"

I paused at his questions, "I'm not sure. Guess I'll just explore a bit until I feel like it's not haunting me as much. I'll stay away until I feel like I'm ready to come back."

He gave a small nod and hugged me, "May we meet again."

I smiled a bit and walked away, "May we meet again."

He said some thing else but I'm not sure, he said it too quietly.

"I won't look for you, but I can't promise for anyone else."

Octavia POV

I was getting my pack ready so I could return to Trikru territory with Indra when Bellamy ran up to me. I was suddenly worried because we just got back from war, but knowing him he already got another one started.

"Octavia, I need you to bring a message to Indra so she can tell Lexa." He said in a rush.

"Oh great, I'm not even your sister anymore. Just downgraded to a messenger, no thank you."

He gave me an impatient look and I finally relented, "Okay fine what's the message."

He smiled then went serious again, "I need you to get Indra to tell the Commander that Clarke left. I don't know where she went or how long she will be gone for, but she's gone. She forbid me from going after her but she can't stop Lexa if she tried so I was hoping you could maybe mention it and see if Lexa would go?"

I huffed and said, "Great you're finally talking to me again and it's just to tell me I have to be a messenger 'cause Sky Princess is AWOL again. Awesome. But yeah I'll mention it, I don't know if the Commander will go seeing as she has an alliance to rebuild, but then again she always goes after Clarke so you never know."

I mounted my horse and went after Lincoln. I just hope Indra will take me seriously and actually deliver this message.
