just a start to the jounery

my eyes slowly open as the light from the sun shine through my window.
I hear a soft knock at my door, I kinda figured who it was.
"Come in, Brian" I say in a morning rough voice.

Brian walks in and has an upset look to his smile.
"What's the matter?" I ask, sitting up.
"Tim, he quit." Brian says, with a stressful tone.

My eyes widen, in shock. Tim was so sweet how could he just up and leave
"Why, what happened?!"
"He said we're not getting anywhere with our band." Brian says sighing.
I stand, giving him a hug.
How could this happen? This could ruin anything he ever worked for.

We let go of our hug and he smiles at me with a genuine smile of hope.

"But, we got a new sign up immediately."
my eyes widen in shock, Hopefully he's even better.
"I bet he's great! That's good news, plus I like Smile's music, i'm sure everyone else does to!" I confidently respond.
He gave me a warm smile followed with a "thank you, Laura."

-3 hours later-

"Wanna come with to see the new guy?" Brian says before leaving.
I was already prepared to go somewhere, usually I just get dressed because i think I'm going somewhere, but usually I'm just staying home practicing panio.
"Of course! is Roger still in the band?" I ask, me and Roger never officially hung out but I loved how loyal he was to my brother.
"Of course he his" Brian smiles as I stand up and walk out the door.

-20 minutes later when we arrive-

"Laura! Brian, great to see you." I heard Roger say once we opened the door.
We arrived behind stage, a small space, but good for less noise.

"Roger, Darling!" I say with thrill. He goes to stand up and welcome us both with a hug.

I felt bad, him and Tim were always together making music, along with Brian, he felt off as well.

We let go of our hug
"You doing alright?" I asked with much concern.

I mean Tim did just give up on them..
"I'm doing fine, just a little aggravated" He says with a small smile and Brian cuts in.

"You always are, Rog." Brian playfully hits his back, walking towards Freddie.
"Watch it, Brian." He says with attitude.

"Who's this, darling?" I hear a new voice, immediately assuming who it was.

"Are you the new singer?" I turn to the new guy.
"Just as better." He had a lot of confidence, as well as a nice introduction.

"So this is the new Smile-" I was cut off by Freddie.

"Queen." The guys looked at Fred.

"New name, hm?" I question.
"Looks like a meeting needs to occur" Brian sighs.

-10 minutes later-

"I like the name, the style." I say holding the note paper he drew the 'queen' title on.

"We'll take it, but our instruments say smile on it?" Roger asks.

"I have that covered, just trust me, once we get to the top everybody will know what Queen, is!" Freddie smiles, fixing his posture on the small couch.

Roger agrees along with the new idea.

Okay so this is the end of this chapter, this wasn't a very good one, but it's only the introduction I promiseseeesee it'll get better just wait for it.
