There were several knocks on the door. I just ignored them and cried my eyes out. I covered my eyes with my hands and sobbed into them. I heard chirping and there was a red robin sitting by me. I smiled grimly and it changed to Ryan. He put his finger to his lips and I nodded. He pulled me into a tight hug and rubbed my back as I cried into his shoulder.

"Shhh it's okay" he whispered into my ear.

"Christina let me in please" I heard Stephan's voice and I ignored it.

"I don't know what to do ryan" I said in his ear he pulled away and looked at me.

"Follow your heart. I swear Stephan won't hurt you. I'm here too okay? I'll always protect you no matter what" he said. I nodded and he changed into a cat and ran off out the door to the balcony and disappeared. I wiped my eyes and walked to the door.

"Please don't do this. Please don't leave me" Stephan said I could hear the hurt in his voice as he struggled to stay calm. I got rid of the chair and opened the door and his body fell on top of me. We went crashing to the floor. He was on top of me and he looked at me. Our breaths hitched when we looked into each other's eyes. He was so beautiful I didn't want to say the painful truth.

"I'm sorry Stephan. " I said and then paused. I didn't want to say what I had to say to this boy.

"For what?" he said curious. I didn't know what to do. Did I want to be with him yes but these things take time. We need more time before I decide on doing this.

"We can't be together just yet okay?" I said looking at him. He widened his eyes and closed them and sighed.

"Please we are perfect for each other. Don't do this please" we were still on the floor looking at each other. His voice was cracking and I knew he was trying really hard not to break down. I brushed my hand on his cheek and he grabbed my hand and kept it there.

"Stephan" I breathed out. He looked down and kissed me passionately. I lost my control I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. He put his hand on my neck and held me there. I didn't care all I wanted was his lips on mine. We pulled away breathing heavily and smiling.

"Please Christina I promise we will take it slow okay?" he said pleading with his eyes. I bit my lower lip and nodded. He got off of me and pulled me up. he pecked my lips excitedly and grabbed my hand in his. Every time we touched I felt shocks go through my body. I didn't mind them at all. I smiled at him and his green eyes stared back.

"I love your eyes" I blurted

"My eyes? their nothing compared to your gorgeous eyes baby" he said I looked down blushing and he took his hand and put it on my chin pushing it up so I met his eyes.

"Stephan" I said

"Baby girl your beautiful don't you ever forget it okay?" he said looking at me seriously. I nodded and he grinned and kiss me lightly.

"I wont" I whispered as he pulled away. What am I going to do with this boy? I'll never know...

*A Week Later*

"Christina!!! Stephan's here" my mom said knocking on my door. It was Monday morning and Stephan was going to pick me up for school. He's been picking me up more often. Ryan picked me up for a couple of days but he let's Stephan do the honours. I enjoyed every minute we've been together. It sucks because during school I only see Stephan in gym class, my english class and lunch but I see Ryan every other class. So I always have my bodyguards with me. The first day we came back as a couple Nicole flipped a lid. She told me I was ugly and Stephan didn't actually want me blah blah blah. I didn't pay attention to it because I knew why Stephan was with me. Because he legit likes me not because of some bet or whatever she comes up with.

I was dressed in black leggings, a pink T-shirt with a flower sweater and a white chiffon scarf. I applied my usual makeup and went down the stairs. I went into the living room and there he was dressed in black jeans, red tee and his usual white supras. He had his brown hair spiked up again. When our eyes met he broke into a huge grin. I walked up to him and he pulled me into a big hug. We broke away and mom was smiling at us. She looked a lot like me but way prettier. Her brown hair was straight and long which set off her green eyes. She was petite and shorter then me. I couldn't remember what my dad looked like but I'm assuming he was gorgeous just like my mom. She waved us off as we left the house.

Stephan brought his corvette today and I practically sprinted to the car. I loved fast cars the adrenaline rush was amazing. I hopped into the passenger seat and waited for him to get in. Once he got in he leaned over to me and kissed me briefly before the roar of the engine filled my ears. We drove away from my house and towards the school. It was a bright sunny day the hear from the sun hit my skin warming it. I smiled and rolled down my window letting my hair go crazy in the wind.

"Baby girl?" Stephan said. I looked at him he had his brow furrowed and it looked like something was bothering him.

"Yeah what's up" I asked worried to what he had to say. For the past couple of days there has been "animal" attacks and we both knew it was Trevor's boys. I assumed this is what he was worried about.

"Did you remember that we had a test today in English?" he said. I widened my eyes at his statement. He was seriously worried about our test?

"Yeah it's no big deal though. It's not really a test it's a written essay. You'll ace it I know you will" I said assuring him. He sighed and looked at me worried.

"I flip out when it comes to those. Yeah sure I can read minds but written assignments I hate them. I never do good" he said turning his attention back to the road. I giggled softly. Who knew a big bad ass vampire was afraid of written essays?

"Hun, you'll do fine okay? I'm sitting right beside you. I wish I could read minds but you can read mine and I'll think of reassuring thoughts for you?" I suggested.

"Christina, you can read minds. All vampires can" he said looking at me.

"Well I've never been able to" I shook my head.

"Because no one has taught you that's why"

"Well we don't have time do we" I said getting annoyed. I wasn't annoyed with him I was annoyed because of all this new found information was confusing I still didn't understand how I was a half vampire.

"We do have time. Let me show you" he said and we arrived to school. What did he have in store for me?
