The Second Time I Got Caught With a Vape

The sound of a door opening is all a teenage boy heard as he finishes taking a hit of his juul he looks all he sees is the school officer standing in the doorway to the bathroom. The officer looks at him and all he says was hand it to me the boy does. The officer walks him to the office and says sit here and wait all the boy sees is the officer talking to the assistant principal. The boy hears the assistant principal say come in to the office and have a seat. The boy is sitting in front of the assistant principal and he hears him say why did you do this again I though you where trying to be good. The boy reply's ya I tried to be good to much work. The officer begins to laugh and says being good is to much work its not hard just stop making stupid decisions. The assistant principal picks up the phone and calls the boys mother and says hello mam we have caught your son with another vape if he gets caught with another one we will suspend him. The boy looks down and thinks to himself what is wrong with me why cant I ever do something good. The assistant principal says to the boy can you stay after school for detention today the boy reply's yes sir. The assistant principal says you can go back to class now and the boy gets up and begins to walk back to class. As the boy is walking back into his class all he sees is his teacher staring at him. He says to the teacher ya I know I shouldn't be vaping i'v heard the speech a million times. Everyone in the classroom begins to laugh then some of his classmates ask how did you get caught. The boys says the officer walked in as i was finishing a hit off my juul. The teacher begins to speak she says why would you vape it only harms your body the boy reply's to the teacher it started out as something to do for fun then i became addicted. The teacher says what are you going to do know that you got your vape taken away the boys says i'm going to go buy a pack of cigarettes when i get out of detention. The class begins to laugh again the teacher looks at the boy and says you don't need to vape or smoke. The boys says i know but at the end of the day i do what i want to. The teacher says lets get off of this topic we have work to get done. The boy sits there not paying attention to a word she is saying then he hears the bell to go to lunch. The boy sees his friends and begins to tell them about what happened all they say to him is nice job dumb ass. Lunch ends and he goes to his next class he sits down in his health class and begins to talk to the people at his table. Then he begins to drift off into his own mind and all he is thinking about is his family and his girlfriend being disappointed at him for being caught with another vape. He sits through his last two classes hating his life because the only thing he wants to do is leave that damn school. He hears the last bell of the day ring and he walks to the classroom where detention is being held. He sits down and the teacher looks at him and says third time a charm he laughs and says i guess this is like my second home now. He looks around and he sees a few other people but he still chooses to sit alone in the back corner off the room. He puts in his earbuds and blast the album come over when your sober part two by lil peep. Everyone in the room begins to look at him he takes out his earbuds and says what someone reply's why do you listen to depressing music the boy say when you give up on yourself you'll understand. The boy puts his earbuds back in and keeps listening to music. He opens Instagram on his phone and begins to scroll through it all he thinks is how can people be so happy when the world is so fucked up. The boy gets off Instagram and just sits there and listens to music until detention is over. Detention ends and he picks up his book bag and walks to the parking lot where his mom is gonna pick him up. His mother pulls up and he gets in  her van and she starts to yell at him for what he did. He just sits there and listens to her yell and yell and yell until they get home. When he gets home he goes to his room and listens to music his mom swings open his door and says i took out a charge on you. The boy yells back why the fuck did you do that his mother says so you quit fucking up your life. He yells get out of my fucking room and his mother walks out and slams the door behind her and he lays there thinking i'm done i'v fucked up for the last time.
