When you are around I forget I wear the heavy crown
King of Pain bent the sad corners of my mouth pointed down
When you are gone far away and out of my sight and touch
I aimlessly wander around missing you far too much
Your soft voice soothes my mind your thoughts flow in my mind like wine
I find Myself smiling more often when we find our time
Sitting together in silence embroiled in deepest thought
Rewards me in the deepest ways that just cannot be bought
I miss you in every possible way there can be
You're the one who's eyes shine blue like the deep part of the sea
Piercing my hearts tenderest part with your intensity
I look in your eyes and the love that shines points back at me
When you are gone far away my world seems terribly black
I know better than to let my thoughts go too far astray
I tell my mind to settle down whenever you're away
