"Cassidy" I heard my mother call me in her sweet, soft, motherly voice. "Yes momma" I said as she smiled and dropped a tea. She handed me a flower that was the color of the rainbow. "...I want you to have this...to remember me when you leave to California" she said.
I grabbed the flower out of her hand and held it close to me. "It will be with me" I said. She took a deep breathe and I hugged her letting out a long sigh. "You be safe. I have you in my prayers and I hope you will fulfill your dreams" she said as I nodded and she wiped my tears.
"You'll be alright" Mother said as I nodded and she smiled. Christian, Kincaid, and Karissa looked at me. I bowed down in front of Karissa and smiled. "I'm sorry I won't be here to see your baby brother be born..." I said as she looked down and handed me a book. "It's my drawing book...I want you to keep it" she said as I held it close to me.
"It will be nothing but a forgiving treasure to me" I said as she hugged me and I hugged back. I rose up seeing Kincaid look at me. "You be careful. I don't want to find your having a light skinned baby" I said as she snickered and looked at me. "I'll be sure I will" she said. I looked at Christian and put my hand on her stomach.
"And you...keep Roger on a leash. I don't want to hear he got into trouble" I said as she smiled and looked down. "I promise. I want to see you in movies. I'll know that your ok" she said as I nodded. "I'll pick your favorite tv show to be in. The Walking Dead" I said as she smirked. "You can try getting in casting" she said.
"Just be safe ok. Make sure to visit for holidays" Mother said as I nodded. "I promise" I said. I grabbed my stuff and walked towards the front door. "We love you. We hope for the best" my mother said as I nodded and opened the door.
"Goodbye"
