Chapter: 15 It's Called Payback

"Are you serious?" I said.

She stared straight at me. She was thinking, thinking real hard. Suddenly it hit her and her eyes lit up. "Did Nate ask you to the dance?" God how did she do that!

"I'm sore, I'm going to lay down." I said trying to get out of there as fast as I could.

"Oh my god he did!" She shrieked and danced around. Crap! There's no way I'm getting out of it now. "Obviously you said yes, what are you guys wearing? Are you two dating now? Is it official, I need details!" She screamed.

"Calm down" I yelled. "We're just going as friends, the reason I was gone yesterday was because Jemma brought me to this boutique so I could get a dress made for me. We're going as Hermione and Ron from the Yule Ball." I said hopefully she'll calm down.

The moment I said that all the excitement drained from her face and she sat back down. "Ron and Hermione didn't go to the Yule Ball together. Hermione went with Viktor Krum and Ron went with one of the Patil sisters." She whined.

"Exactly that's why we're going as friends" I said. She looked disappointed and huffed out of sadness. "Aw cheer up Bonnie. You knew it was too good to be true." I cooed.

"I just don't understand, you have someone after you and you don't even bother to take it. Some girls would love to have someone like Nate Dawson to fawn over them." Secretly implying she's one of those girls.

"Well I'm not one of those girls, and he's too old for you Bonnie" I added.

She looked surprised. "I wasn't-"

"Yeah I know where you were going" I cut her off.

She just rolled her eye. She didn't bother to deny it.

What is with Jemma and my entire family waiting for me to find someone? I just don't get it. It's not like I'm lonely. I have Harry Potter I don't need anyone. Besides my career is most important at the moment. I have said this multiple times and I'm going to say it again. I'm not interested in a relationship.

"Are you taking anyone to the ball?" I asked breaking the awkward silence.

"No" she said quickly. The funny thing was, was that she was lying.

"Bonnie you've always been a bad liar" I mocked her. "Spill" I demanded.

"Fine, yes I have a date" she admitted.

"Oooh, who is it?" I said in the girliest voice I could muster.

She was twiddling with her thumbs, something she always did when she was nervous. "His name is Blake, he's on the football team with Mike, but you can't tell Mike, he'll get mad. Like really mad." She looked desperate.

"I thought it was your life mission to make Mike's miserable." I asked sarcastically, yet at the same time it was true.

She laughed. "Well it is" she laughed again, then she turned serious and looked at me. "This is different Kell, I really like him. He's not the typical stereotype football jock. He's really nice to me, and if I have my little brother trying to be the big brother and trying to beat the crap out of him, he won't be interested in me." She said.

"Now here's the thing Bon. I see what you're saying, but if Blake really liked you, he wouldn't do that and end up beating the crap out of Mike." We both laughed at that last part. "So just let me deal with Mike. I mean he's going to find out somehow, might as well find out from me. He listens to me." I finished. She nodded in agreement.

I chugged the rest of my juice down and spent the rest of day resting in bed watching netflix.

I kept thinking about that dream. Trying to figure out what it meant. I let it replay in my head, strangely feeling a pang of warmth in my chest that slightly terrified me, but in a way it was nice.

I'm glad I could give Bonnie a word of advise today, which reminded me I want to meet this Blake guy, it's payback time! I laughed at the idea.

Hey guys! Finally chapter 15. I hope you like it as much as I do. I actually wrote this in the car on my way to see Frozen on Ice. Which was awesome! Ladies and Gentlemen we are up to 300 reads!!!
