♡Misty's POV♡
Waking up to my children happily jumping on my bed is definitely not a normal sight but it's one that left me quite curious. "What is wrong with you two?" I giggled softly still half asleep "IT'S SNOWING IT'S SNOWING!" My two silly children shouted cheerfully while I hoped they didn't wake up my hus- "kids? Misty?" Scratch that. He's definitely awake "Daddy it's snowing! It's snowing!" Our little girl, Christine said cheerfully climbing off the bed "really now?" He asked cocking his head slightly "come on! Let's go play!" Our son Riley said jumping off the bed before the two happily ran out the room. "Those two are so energetic today." Ryan said smiling before pecking my lips making me giggle softly "alright come on let's get dressed before they run out without us." I said climbing out of bed, stretching slightly "whatever you say love." His eyes fluttered shut again as I let out a sigh before leaning over the bed and gently smacking the side of his face "I'm serious, let's go" I said before standing up straight and going to grab some appropriate clothes for the snowy weather, smiling softly when I hear him finally get out of bed. I grabbed the clothes I need before heading to the bathroom, smiling when I hear the children happily shout about the winter. "Don't take forever misty!" I heard Ryan say before I closed the door, chuckling. ~tiny time skip about 5 minutes~
I step out of the bathroom wrapped up for the snow "you finally ready?" Ryan teased with a smile as the kids came running in yelling at us to hurry up before running out again "I was only in there for 5 minutes calm it. But yes, I'm ready idiot" I said playfully rolling my eyes "alright let's go then" He said walking out the room with me following after him "come on! Come on! Hurry hurry!" Riley shouted cheerfully "alright calm down" I unlocked the door opening it allowing the two kids to run out the door and happily play "I swear, those two are crazy." Ryan said stepping out as well "hmm, I wonder who they get it from?" I said sarcastically "are you calling me crazy?" He questioned while I walked out simply bathing in the snow and it's freezing goodness "maybe maybe not" I said giggling seeing his brows furrow "you're the crazy one misty." He said rolling his eyes before staring at the kids as they happily played in the snow "whatever you say dear." I say with a sweet smile staring up at the sky as the snow delicately falls "it's been a while since I've seen the snow" I said to no one in particular hearing Ryan hum in acknowledgement "it's nice to see it again." I said sighing for being jumping feeling arms wrap around my waist "Ryan? Dear?" He didn't respond simply hiding his face in my neck, humming gently. I let out a small sigh before hearing Ryan speak up "it's kinda funny ya know." He said chuckling head now resting on my shoulder "what's funny?" "Simply the fact that we've been together for almost 10 years yet you're still as beautiful as the day we met." I felt my face heat up at the comment "your eyes still shine beautifully and your smile can still light up my world. I don't know how you do it truly." He said kissing the tip of my ear "heh, I still wonder as well" I said giggling "I love you misty." He said smiling against my neck "I love you too dear. Always have and always will." I said lovingly before he moved my head to the side and kissed my lips sweetly.
We will always be a happy perfect family.
