~Dim Sky~ (Simarkus)

Markus looked up at the stars that shone through the dim night sky. Markus sighed as he tilted his head downward. Simon was passing through Jericho and saw Markus, Simon thought he would say hello. He slowly walked up to Markus and gently put his hand on Markus's shoulder. Markus jumped and quickly turned around "Sorry" Simon quietly spoke "I didn't mean to startle you.." Simon's eyes darted away from Markus shamefully. "No, its ok Simon." Markus said reassuringly. "Is it ok if I sit down..?" Simon asked "Of course." Markus smillied. Simon sat down next down to Markus, his arms wrapped around his legs that were put up to his chest, Simon looked down at the cement ground. Markus looked at Simon and his smile faded "Simon..?" Markus asked. "Huh? Oh sorry.." Simon smirked "I was just- thinking.." Simon turned his head away. "Oh. What were you thinking about..?" Markus tilted his head. "Nothing- I-" Simon's mouth was left open but no words came out. "Well, I have been thinking about Jericho and... uhm.." Simon buried his face in his arms, he looked down and mumbled. "And what?" Markus asked"Well- you." Simon eyes shimmered as he starred at Markus. Markus was slightly startled "I have been thinking about how you are such a better leader and.. Just.." Simon blushed "Before you came to Jericho I was the leader and, as you saw, I was a terrible leader.. I let nobody leave or do anything outside of Jericho.. I was letting our people die.. all because of my anxiety and worry.." Simon sighed. "But with you..." Simon smillied "You.. were so confident, you were standing up for us. I couldn't think a better leader, especially me." Simon's legs were over the ledge now and his arms were crossed, his face was still showing a smile. "And I have always feared death.. which-hah- is ironic because my fear of death would have lead to my death if it wasn't for you.." Simon smirked. "So I guess you technically saved my life.." Simon said. "Thank you.." Simon blushed as he turned towards Markus. "Simon there is no need to thank me.." Markus smillied. "Anyway." Simon said as he looked away blushing even harder. "You know when I came back from the Stratford tower?" Simon said "Well.. I wouldn't have been able to even come back if it wasn't for your confidence, your bravery... I don't think I would have ever come back to Jericho.. I would just stay there in fear.." Simon sighed "The only reason I left the Stratford tower is because I remembered you and how, if you were in my spot, you would be courageous and go back to Jericho so, I did just that.." Simon said. "Markus- what I'm saying is- I admire you.. And I think I.." Simon blushed "I think I'm in love with you.." Simon said before covering his mouth up with his jacket and darting his eyes away whilst his free hand was on the ground. Markus was startled at first, but he then put his hand on top of Simon's hand. Simon jolted up a bit and looked at Markus, and he started blushing more. Markus was now holding Simon's hand. "Simon.." Markus smillied before pulling Simon into a kiss.
