we made eye contact " yeah . i understand you " i said . she had the most beautiful eyes . i don't even know this girl but something about her just makes me feel something . she turned her head " oh no . he's coming over here " annie said " hey leblanc !! upgrade " her ex yelled and all his friends laughed " he upgraded from bed too !! " one of his friends yelled and they laughed . annie slammed her hands on the table and got up " annie wait " i yelled . she stormed out of the lunchroom . i ran up to her and she was shaking and her eyes were tearing up " hey hey what's the matter " i asked " nothing i'm fine " annie said trying to walk off " annie . your really going to let kid get to you ? i mean i haven't known you long enough but i know that you can pull through this . i mean your tough and kinda scary " i said and she slightly laughed " thank you asher . i would hug you but that's kinda weird " annie said . i laughed . i mean i made her feel better i guess and that's a plus " can i walk you home " i asked annie . she nodded her head yes i was so excited
~ after school ~
i was waiting for annie at the place i told her to wait at . and i see her talking to her ex i walked up to her " hey annie i was waiting for you but you never showed " i said " oh sorry hayden and i were just catching up " annie said smiling and he put his arm around her " what's this ? " i asked " we got back together duh " her ex said pushing me out of the way and they walked together " wait so . annie i told you what i said after lunch and you let him and his friends call you an upgrade and you still get back with him " i said in frustration " i told you asher i love him " annie said " annie he has a girlfriend !! he literally called you an upgrade from sex i front of everybody !!! " i yelled . annie stopped and looked at me " listen you know nothing asher okay so stay out of it " annie said and her and her " boyfriend " walked away . i can't wait to see how tomorrow will turn out
