Chapter one| Good morning

-Roses POV-

Finally, the last day of school. I had been waiting for this day to come for what seemed like FOREVER! My name is Rose, i just turned 16 and i cannot wait for summer to start. Me and my cousin Jason were waiting on the bus to arrive. It was 6:35 in the morning. Getting up early for school was NOT one of my strong suits. 

The bus finally got here and we got on. We both greeted out friend Ryan, who was getting ready to sleep until we got to school. 

The bus rides were always super boring and slow since we lived way out in the country. I was just about to put my earbuds in when i heard someone whisper, it was Jason. 

"Hey Rose? Did you do your math homework... i kind of forgot and-" 

i cut him off

"yes yes you can borrow mine, just do NOT get caught cheating", i said with a more serious tone than I intended. 

"Thanks Rose you are a life saver!" he said before grabbing my notebook and ripping the page out.

-time skip-

We finally got to school and i was super excited. After all it WAS the last day before summer. I had so many plans for this summer also. I was going to the beach, i was going to run at LEAST 5 miles everyday.

When we got to school we ate breakfast like normal, and went to first period. Me and Jason had the same class and we also sat beside each other. 

"Hello class, i hope everyone is doing well today" my teacher said. Something felt different about today.. like something was off or something bad was going to happen. My thoughts were interrupted when my teacher continued saying,

"Its going to be a VERY good morning"
