Ash started pacing around his large bedroom dressed in pink and looked in the mirror. Before him, he saw a girl in a pink dress, long golden hair in tight royal curls, a face baked in makeup, and breast where a flat chest should be. His eyes were stinging with tears, but he quickly blinked them away and his face filled with determination and rage. This wasn't who he is.
He unplugged his phone from the wall as the artificial light lit up his face and clicked on the green message icon with his thumb. He pressed on Rose's contact and saw their large pale yellow smile against their smooth dark skin. Their long hair was being cut out of the picture at the bottom, but he knew for a fact that his best friend's hair went well past their hips. He typed out,"Hey can you come over. Im doing something very important."
He paced around his room awaiting the answer, his exposed, smooth, hairless thighs banging against the mesh knitting of the bottom layer of his frilly dress, when he heard a small ding of a reply.
"I'm coming. Window or Door?"
Ash thought about it then replied,"Door. My mom will be less suspicious."
"Excuse yourself to go to the bathroom then head upstairs to my room. The party with barley notice you slipping upstairs. But nobody will miss you gone." Alex added.
"Aw, shut up.>u<" Rose replied. He knew they was blushing while picking out an outfit after reading that message. A few minutes later he heard a knock and the front door and heard Rose's footsteps delicately run up the stairs. A soft knock landed on his door and he knew it was them. He ran over and opened the door, rushing them in.
"Wow, what's up?" Rose asked once the door was safely inside. Ash said to them,"I'm doing it. Im making my move!" Rose's face lit up and they quickly engulfed Ash in a hug. They ushered,"Congrats! What first?"
Rose rushed around jumping after ending the embrace, but Ash grabbed their wrist and told them to stop. "First, hair." Rose's face broke out in a wide grin after Ash said that and quickly sat him down in his desk chair. They grabbed scissors off his desk and started chopping away, leaving messily cut ends of his golden hair. Rose examined their work and quickly put a maroon beanie stylishly put at the back of his head. Ash rubbed the back of his neck, brushing away the thin loose hairs that stuck there after the hair cut, and smiled with tears in his eyes. "Time to dye it!" Ash handed Rose a bottle of teal hair dye as they picked out the strips they wanted to dye, it being two moderately large sections in the front where his fringe was. They piled on the hair dye then brushed it around evenly then wrapped it in tinfoil to set in. Ash knew for a fact that Rose has done this before because they dyed their hair multiple different shades of pink over their 12 years of friendship.
After a period of time Ash was to anxious to count, Rose unwrapped the tinfoil and washed out the colour, the teal liquid slowly draining down the white sleek sink of Ash's bathroom. "You are so lucky to live here! It ginormous! You can do what ever!"Rose sighed. Rose has always wanted to live in Ash's lifestyle for they was an orphan, abandoned by their own mama and papa at age 2. They was left on the doorstep of the local church, but was later thrown out when they was 4 for being pansexual. I know it may seem quite young, but Rose is quite the intelligent child. They found Ash because they both were roaming around, Ash playing in a pale blue dress, white stockings, and black shoes with his hair tied up in a single braid with a blue ribbon, Rose in a black robe they got from the church. They ran into each other because Ash was playing in a tree and fell out onto Rose. He tried to fell,"Watch out!" But it was to late. Since then they bonded at a fast pace and were soon to be best friends.
With Ash's hair done, they went to Ash's room so he can change into more masculine clothing that Rose took from a clothe donation for transgender children that don't have excepting families or can't afford it. Ash and Rose then opened the wardrobe and pushed through the dresses, frilly shirts, and tight skirts to find his hidden clothing. In the small pile of masculine clothing there was a white t-shirt, a plaid blue shirt, a pair of boxers, a pair of deep blue denim jeans, white socks rolled up nicely into each other, and a white chest binder.
