I'm sitting at my study table in front of a opened window. I'm writing an essay for my speech for next week. I'm 10 years old and I'm graduating in elementary. Maybe you are wondering why my age is a bit early for my primary schooling, that's because I am accelerated.

When I'm 6 years old, I already memorized the periodic table and I already read a hundred of books. I spent my 10 years from watching famous scientists and mathematicians. Also traveling around the world to compete and to represent my country. In my current invention, It is nominated to a Japan Science fair.

And as for now I'm writing my essay. It is a bit hard for me because my forte was Science, Math, History, and Arts. Not English and Language. I'm staring at blank paper while holding a pencil.

All of a sudden, a knock coming from my door open me from reality. The door opened and I looked at the door.

"Xavier... I have something for you!"
Dad said enthusiastically.

"What is it now?"
My dad is always excited. He loves to create things from scraps. He is smiling so wide. He gives me the things that he made. Last thing he gave me was a bear that is made from a wood.

"HERE!!!"
And raised up a paperbag.

"What is that?"
He walk closer to me and kneel down and he handed me the blue paper bag. I opened the paper bag and it is a...

Tin can phone. There is two tin cans and a red string attached to it.

"And what am I suppose to do with this?"
He smiled gently.

"When I was a kid I used to play with these. There is no technology. No cellphones, no TVs... just these. My friends and I love to play with it."
Yeah I know he is quite childish.

"I have read this. It is A tin can telephone... a speech-transmitting device made up of two tin cans items attached to either end of a taut string or wire. The sound is converted vibrations."
He smiled again.

"Maybe you can define it finely. But you can never define how the happiness brings this to you."
I just nod. He stood up.

"I'm gonna leave you here now. Play outside, enjoy being a boy!"
And he walk towards the door and closed it gently. I looked at the tin can phone again. I grab the can phone out of the paper bag. I stand up and put the one can on my table near the window and the other can I threw it outside the window. My bedroom was in second floor. And its just perfect. I saw the other can landed on the grass.

I released a sigh. I don't have friends. My classmates always think that I'm a nerd. But I wear contact lenses. They also find me weird. When I'm talking to people or if I'm trying to make friends I got nervous and then the awkward atmosphere came.

So now I don't know what to do. I'm going to speak a speech next week. I'm the valedictorian in my class. I don't know what to say. There is a sound like metal crashing to concrete. I looked at the window and saw my tin can phone moving against the wall. I walk to get it and I put the can into my ears.

"Hellluuuuuu?!?! I aaaammm ZACHII!!! Caaaan yooouuu heeeeaaarrr meeee?!"
I move away the can because the voice was too loud. That is a girl's voice.

"Issss thiiisss a phoooone forrrr alieeeens?!"
What?! Aliens? What in the world?

"I'mmmmm Zachiii Maisonsss!!! I liveee besideee diz houseeee! Weee jussst mooveee in yesteeeerday!"
I smiled. Why is she shouting? And why does the word takes to long. I look down at the window. She's a girl sitting at the grass. With pigtails, wearing a purple dress and shouting at the can. I can't see her face because her head is in down position.
