AN: Screw the time line And I will make this work out. This will end up taking a trip to the linked universe. I do not own a thing in this fic
PS: I'm currently editing it and adding a few things. The first three chapters are choppy and filled with plot that will be straightened out later in the book.
It is said in the ancient Legends of Hyrule, that whenever terrible evil rises, a Hero clad in green will appear. Little has been known about the Hero. Brave, courageous, and a link between us and the gods and goddesses. The Hero was said to have traveled through time, could cross into the Twilight Realm, find ways to save the world with a sword blessed by a goddess, some luck, and the Triforce of Courage.
Against all odds, time and time again, the Hero appeared. Legends spoke of the Hero that never rested, always fighting to steal the darkness away with the Sword of Evil's Bane. The Winged Sword, the mysterious sword that would kill the unworthy.
Some of the lore masters believed the Hero to be the same person or soul forever trapped in an endless cycle and destined to die in the worst ways imaginable.   The fate of the Hero was always the forgotten end of each epic tale of the Master Swordsman, doomed to silence and forever remembering every reincarnation, every death, every sorrow, and every regret. From the first Hero, Who had given up immortality and godhood to save those who had pleaded for his intervention to the Hero of of the Four Sword, the ancient legends were told and believed in by the people of Hyrule. The Royal Knights believed in these tales more so than all others and anxiously awaited the emergence of the swordsman of Evil's Bane, the Master Sword. Only the Sheikah tribe seemed to know or cared to remember that the Hero was always abandoned as a baby and it would not change an any incarnation. They tried to help but never made it in time.
—-Running out of Time———
It was a beautiful night out, seemingly taunting the Kingdom of Hyrule in their hour of sorrow. The King, a hero but not the Hero, and a Royal Knight, had passed on and tonight they would honor the Fallen Hero and the King, nameless though the Hero be, in a special ceremony All of Hyrule was gathered in peace. Gerudo, Zora, Goron, Sheikah, and Hylians all here to honor an incredible King and a courageous Knight that had died for them. Zelda, Queen of Hyrule, and Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo, were listening to the Zora Princess, Ralinia, give the Hero a meaningful goodbye.
"A meeting, as glad as one can be, is also a parting. This Hero, not of legend but of courage, was of the long line of Royal Knights. His courage to stand and fight, buying the rest of the people of a villiage and helping to defend the king till the last moment, has made this Knight stand on a pedestal of heroism. His last stand also bought time for the King to be able to bring about the end of a taxing war and he would be able to pass with no regrets as his daughter And granddaughter, Queen Zelda XXXV and Princess Zelda, and his country could prosper in this season of peace. We recognize..." Her soft speech was broken by the wail of a baby.
Ganon looked to Queen Zelda in confusion as there were no babies permitted in the Temple of Time. The Sheikah and the Gerudo started to search everywhere as the wails bounced around. It was Urbosa and Nabooru that found the child behind the statue of the Goddess Hylia, right in front of the entrance to the Spirit Realm. This was something that was not lost on the Sheikah, Zelda, or Ganon. Zelda looked to Impa in confusion and received a shake of the head as if to say 'No one got past us, your highness.'
