The Assassination School for the Special Gen

The Lecture

January 1st, 2019

It's the day after New Years, all of the students are tired from a long night of celebrations and fun. The professor summons the students and all of the staff to the Arena Theater in the west wing for an early morning lecture.

The professor started his lecture by giving all of the students a long hard stare. All went quiet, the students had all seen his glare before, it meant trouble. He began to speak, "What you are about to hear is no laughing matter." They all suddenly became quiet, eager to hear what had happened. "This information has not been shared to anyone outside of this school for your own safety." Everyone in the room was stil now. "If we find that anyone has discussed what I am about to tell you I will have to kill you." He continued, "The headmaster, James L. Mitchell, has died." Everyone was in shock, "At first we thought it was an average suicicde, but we soon discovered that he was murdered." Said the professor. "All of us, The students and staff of the Assassination School for the Special Gen are suspects of the mur-" A student in the ack of the Arena Theater interrupted, "Arcus H, First year, why are we the only suspects?" The professor looked somewhat annoyed at this question yet he still answered, "We are the only suspects because as most of you know we are the only ones that know of the location of this here school." A girl in the audience started crying. "Until further notice there will be some ground rules." "You will all have to report to your dorms at 6:00pm and no outside contact will be permitted." He paused, "You will all be going through your daily schedules as usual but we will be interrogating one by one" Now several others were crying, knowing the fact that one of them is a true killer. "You are dismissed." "Please stay in your dorms until we call you for interrogation." As the students got out to leave the professor made one last remark, "May the best of us survive"
