I tend to walk alone most nights, it used to soothe me and help me relax. Now, it's a constant reminder of what is now gone, what cannot come back.

It's a shame, really, when things happen. Deep down, in the parts of our minds which we keep shadowed behind our prominent thoughts, we all know who it was. We all know who suspiciously was out that night, who hasn't appeared in any family get-togethers since and we can't prove this, nobody can because who knows? Who knows the truth? All we can really do is hope and pray for the pain to die away, to leave our tormented souls and stop the longing for his return.

Then again, is it really  that wrong to blame your own uncle for the disappearance, maybe even death, of your S.O? Personally, I think not. My mind is always captivated and stuck behind a wall of my own thoughts, the ones you couldn't share to your parents or friends just because of how sick and twisted they really are.

Sorry for the short first chapter, I hope you like it! Keep in mind, the gifs at the start of each chapter do not correspond with anything in the writing, they're simply there for aesthetic purposes.
