"Max please don't do this. I'm sorry, it will never happen again" Adrian pleaded, his eyes held a mix of sorrow, guilt, and the usual twinge of anger. He cheated on me, after months of telling me he loves me and he can't live without me he cheats on me with some two dollar hooker!
I looked up into his eyes the barricade of tears were on the brink of spilling over. I reached up and wiped my own eyes getting rid of the tears I had let fall. I held in the sobs I desperately wanted to release.
"Forget me. Act like you don't know me and forget every memory we ever made. If you see me in passing don't you even cast me a glance. I never want to see or hear from you again" my voice cracked and more tears streamed down my face.
Adrian's face fell and the barricade broke. His cheeks were flooded with the tears I caused. All I wanted to do want stop them and tell him everything would be okay but it wasn't going to be okay. The relationship that lasted the past six months was a waste of our time
I turned on my heel and walked away with my head down ignoring his cries and pleas for me to come back
