Alexis' pov

"Morning boys!" I beamed as they opened the doors for me and my girls. *sigh* Just like every other day a boring, neverending cycle. I confidently strutted down the long halls of Bradlington High with my two besties at my side. We all tried our best to plaster on a fake smile to conceal our tiredness, well at least I did, I mean last night's party finished around 2 a.m. and I still had to go home and do History home-work for today.

Suddenly, silence engulfed the atmosphere and all that could be heard was the clicking of my black, suede high heel stilettoes as everyone stared at us in awe ... almost as if we were models for Victoria Secret or something, but to be honest I actually enjoyed the attention.

However, this was quickly ended as mumbles spread through the seemingly crowded corridors like wildfire of girls swatting their boyfriends trying to regain their attention ... but I mean I don't give the guys wrong we were drop-dead gorgeous !!

"Pop !", I quickly snapped out of my "sort of trance" to my friend Nikki who was on my right blowing bubbles with her gum. Nikki, without a doubt, was definitely the beauty guru of the trio. I mean her highlight was always on point and let's be real her lips looked better than Kylie Jenner's but Nikki was always a bit on the rebellious side. Everyone knew her to be a heartbreaker and emotionless ... well, let's just say your typical bad girl. However, what no one really knew was that she was the one who was heartbroken. And yes I love Nikki but no matter how many times I try to warn her she shoves me off and does the exact opposite of what I tell her. She's so stubborn, but then again that is what made Nikki ... well ... Nikki.

And of course, to my right, we have the one and only Emily. Emily was the exact oppisite of Nikki. She was bubbly, friendly..., especially with the guys ... however most times Emily was a bit of an airhead. Don't get me wrong I mean this in the nicest way possible but sometimes she was just a bit too gullible. Boys used her 24/7 and even swapped with each other. Sometimes I wished their was some sort of spell I could put on her or some potion I could make her drink to knock some sense into her. I mean seriously, that girl would drink anything and now that you think about it ... that was probably why she was always so loopy in the first place.

And then there's me, I'm not perfect but I have to say I come pretty close ... if I do say so myself... and of course, with that, you've probably already guessed where I fall in. I was the LEADER, with perfect grades, the perfect family, perfect boyfriend , Nicholas (yes he was Nikki's brother but she was cool with it ... I think) ... well, I had the perfect life. Nicholas was the best boyfriend anyone could ask for, just the sweetest person ever ... I honestly couldn't survive without him.

So there's my life, my friends, my world. Nikki, Emily and I were known as the school's "golden girls " because we got straight As, except Emily, we were nice to everyone, except Nikki (she is a bit, how do I say, difficult to warm up to )and we were basically loved by everyone.I was so lost in thought I didn't even realize we had already arrived at our lockers, which were right next to each other'.

The first period was Biology and just as I was about to get my textbooks out of my locker, goosebumps covered my body and chills shot up my spine as someone's  warm arms wrapped around my waist. "Good Morning beautiful " a husky voice whispered in my ear .

My eyes lit up, "OMG Nicholas !!", I thought to myself. I immediately turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck, he pulled me in closer and gave me a light peck on the lips ."Oh my god ... broooo ... do you have to make me throw up my breakfast!!",Nikki groaned and at that, our moment was cut short.

At that point, all I wanted to do was get to class but as Nikki opened her locker it was almost as if Mt.Everest came crashing down. Everything fell out. All of her makeup, textbooks ... lunch from two weeks ago.
"Shit! Not now... seriously !", she cursed under her breath. I honestly couldn't wait any longer ... "Sorry Nikki," I forced out," I can't wait any longer we'll be late for class I'll see you in the bio lab ."

"Yeah whatever ." she carelessly answered rolling her eyes. I got my books and Nicholas and I interlaced our fingers and headed off to the lab with Emily who lazily followed only carrying a sheet of paper and a pen.

Nikki's pov

"Great," I sighed to myself, "now I  have to clean all of this up and I'm gonna be late for class, just great! "  As I started to pick up the sheets of paper scattered on the floor I was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.

"Hey princess," the voice snickered, "Need any help?! " it teasingly questioned. And just as I was about to turn around and give this bitch one slap across the face I froze as this tall figure walked past me.

Probably the most beautiful person I've ever seen, which is a lot coming from me. I mean all he was wearing was a plain white t-shirt, black jeans, and a leather jacket. Cliche, but he really pulled it off. However, all my fantasies of him quickly concluded as this weird, unknown dude rudely kicked my textbooks out of the way.

I mean yes they were on the ground and they were in the way but that didn't give him any right to kick them, who was he anyway. I rolled my eyes in disgust and just the thought of actually doing work today made me scowl.
