There's two parts(or more) to every story. Nobody would understand our struggle. Nobody cared. But, that caused us to do something we shouldn't have done.
-Kaiden's POV-
I lost my parents to drugs and alcohol when I was really young. I had no other family besides my sister and my brother, but when I left to stay with my friend and his family, I couldn't find him. So, I took my sister, Rose, and we lived with his family until I was 15.
They abused us, we constantly had cuts and bruises and never enough to eat. That's why my friend would always sneak food to us, give us some of his blankets, and some of his old clothes from his older sister and him.
When his parents find out that it was him doing that stuff, they instantly kicked him out, we were 15, so we had to find other homes.
Tyler ran off into the woods and found an abandoned tree house that looked so freaking old. But, he used tree parts that he found to fix it up and make it liveable.
I got a job working fast food and got me and my sister an apartment. She had to run a paper route since she was only 14 at the time.
I got my parent's old truck, and I still have to pay insurance. So annoying. Then I have Rose asking to go to a concert almost every Friday. Her favourite band is on a tour around the U.S before they go to the Japan and then to China and places like that. Their name is DarkLite. Her favourite person in the whole world is the lead singer, Adrien Thornberry. She has pictures of him everywhere.
She has fan letters that she has gotten a reply back with Adrien's autograph on because she went to a concert and was lucky enough to meet him outside of the studio somehow. She saw him and his bodyguards in the street going to the mall for something or other and she gave one of her letters and a pen for him to reply.
It's weird. She keeps them on her at all times for that one moment. Ambitious.
"As long as you bring me a dragon figurine from Dark Times Headquarters." A good place to get dragon stuff. That's where I make her shop every time she takes the car.
"I will. I have to leave in an hour. I'm going to get ready."
"K. Whatever. I'm going to hang with Tyler."
"Bye Kaiden! Love you, and thanks for letting me use the car."
"Whatever, just don't leave any makeup in the car, or I'm throwing it away immediately. Oh, and I have to remove Darrel's going away cage. The last time I left it in there, your friend let her kitten play with the spider webs."
"Yeah, she gets carried away when she sees string."
"Whatever, I'm still taking it."
I'm glad to get rid of her. I take the cage, place Darrel in it and take him to Tyler's 'tree palace', or so he calls it. I'll write more later.
