Angelic by Krasi-2019
The morning sun has awoken, I slowly lifted my numb arms and toes to drag myself up from bed. My eyes twitching to the gleaming light piercing through my window made me realise the beauty this morning held. It wasn't long before I was rushed through the door, my heart filled with peculiar sensations running down my spine. A few moments later I thought of how the gleam from my window had approached my vision before, and that brought my mood sensations, although I thought I was cursed or entwined with the sun's gleam but it was obviously just a thought in my head caused by a daydream. I knew there was something else going on in my brain that I wasn't aware of, but I decided to leave the thought Yeah unanswered. Walking past me I could feel the calm surviving breeze sway on me like a mockingbird with its wings, and a guy which seemed to walk past me looked across me, as if something was up. I didn't know what it was until I proclaimed to look in his direction and couldn't help but notice the angelic smile on his broad face. He didn't seem to budge on the slight movement of my foot crunching leaves or walking past. "Why was I so attracted to a stranger I just saw on the street?". Only my mind could have answered that but I kept walking despite the constant budge my brain gave me. Nonetheless I spotted something strangely awkward but mesmerizing whilst walking behind the guy, his ankle had been tattooed on the left side with the letter 'J', which kind of gave me the shivers as the first letter of my name had begun with this letter. Unexpectedly he turned behind, only I noticed he was trying to figure out something as his vision was turned facing me. I didn't quite like the fact that I was stared at because I wasn't really the 'pretty type' and didn't think there was much to be looked at. As smaying as he looked, I knew I could never compete with what was in front of me, at least not as much. There was a sudden approach of eye contact both of us had made as his eyes unexpectedly cupped with mine to form something that made my brain exactly swerve back into the memories I once had as a child. The single reinforcement of combination made me click for a second as I definitely knew what I was facing towards. 'if this isn't him then I must not have the capacity to remember that much about a stranger in such a short period of time' ... but it was!, him! the only man I'd ever set eyes on, and the only thing I could ever call angelic. Thoughts, emotions, wild sensations and a slight urge to get to know this person hit me like a train from a railway station. This was the most endearing and weird feelings I've had in a long time for such a short period of time and I think my mind had better realised that sooner or later. 'Why had seeing him have such an impact on me?' best question I'd love to answer, I said to myself, but carried on trodding. For a moment I felt a sudden closure, and I knew all this breakfast from this morning must have made me sick on the way. I felt so nauseous that my brain had an off limit. The guy from behind did not take his eyes off me and now I felt the creep running down on me. For a sudden moment I ran back home as if trying to escape from a horror movie, now helpless and out of breath. I told myself I shouldn't worry too much as I knew my mum was awaiting for me at home and everything seemed safe when I thought that, but that was it!, I couldn't walk , I felt so sick and dizzy that even the slightest move I make will collapse me on the floor. Unexpectedly a few minutes later I had found myself unable to contact anyone or even my mum as my phone had died permanently, my feet soaking wet and my arms and toes numb, the only chance I had was to ask the guy whether any busses had passed in those couple of hours or if he could take me somewhere near to warm myself up and refrain from freezing. I could not think of the consequences now as I needed help getting back home, so I carefully stood up and made a single sound. "excuse me but do u know anywhere close i could take a bus?". He simply looked at me and replied, also looking surprised to see me and said "Jane?, is that you?", for a sudden moment I fell, my heart beat slowing down and my vision slowly blurring, the only thing I could feel was my brain escaping into a deep sleep, now approaching a holy light, unable to tell where it led me.
