Spider-Man: The Avengers

Prologue

     There was a knock on the door. It was Aunt May, "Peter! Come downstairs, there's a man in a suit here to speak to you!"

     Peter rolls out of bed. He is still in his Spider-Man suit.

     "Okay, I'll be there in a little bit!  Let me get dressed". He quickly gets out of his Spider-Man suit, changes into his regular clothes, and tosses his Spider clothes in his closet; he exits the room, shutting the door, and quickly runs downstairs to meet this man in the suit.

     When he gets downstairs, he sees Aunt May talking to the guy in the suit, both sitting down at the dining table drinking coffee. Peter never had seen this man before.

     Aunt May notices him, "There you are Peter," she says.

     The man in the suit stands up and faces him, "Hello Mr. Parker, my name is Phil Coulson" he said smiling and goes to shake Peter's hand. "I have something important I would like to talk to you about Mr. Parker, is there somewhere we can speak in private?" just as Coulson said that Aunt May stand up, "You know I have to go to the grocery store so I'll just leave and let you two talk" she then grabs her purse, hugs Peter, shakes hands with Coulson and leaves.

     As May left Coulson's smiling face became serious.

     "I know the truth, you're Spider-Man. How do I know? I'm the director of an organization called SHIELD. Oh, and your Parents worked for them.

     Peter was shocked when he heard him saying he knew his secret but not as shocked as he was when hearing his parents supposedly worked for a spy organization.

     "Wait what the crap? Are you telling me that my parents were Spies? They worked for Oscorp."

Coulson nodded, "Yes, SHIELD sent them to work there around the time you were born to get some information because we thought Oscorp was making weapons."

     "Did Aunt May and Uncle Ben know?" Peter asks

     Coulson shook his head, "No they didn't, but I'm not here to talk about that"

     Peter was confused, "Then why did you come?"

     Coulson was even more serious, "Because Mr. Parker, there are secrets out there, and there are heroes, Mr. Parker, I am here to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative."
