' my love as deep; the more i give to thee, the more i have, for both are infinite.' jaewon read as his eyes slid across the page. he sat on an abandoned bench on the top of a college building's roof.
jaewon never was the outstanding type, nobody really knows him, not even sparing a single glance. he only knows his roommates, dongho, daehyun and minsoo.
he hears the heavy metal door to the roof open and close as he's halfway through Romeo and Juliet. he looks back and sees dongho, panting and looking left and right.
" hey dongho," jaewon closes his book as he approaches his roommate and crush. " are you alright? were you looking for someone? "
" oh- uh, yeah, yeah. i was actually looking for you." dongho quickly went to his normal chill, monotone voice. " i wanted to tell you something important. "
" what is it? " jaewon lead him to the bench, sitting down and tracing and observing all of dongho's features.
dongho twiddled with his finger in his jacket pockets before he spoke.
" to put it simply, i'm in love with you."
jaewon stares at him in disbelief, dongho scratching his neck as his face reddens. jaewon tries to comprehend those 5 words that he'd never heard from anyone before.
" ... why? "
" why? because our conversations bring me a lot of joy. i love how understanding you are and how everyone can just open up to you even if they only had one encounter with you." dongho started, softly placing jaewon on his lap. " you're such a warm-hearted person, it's nice seeing that some people are still kind. "
" you're really smart and you let me copy notes off from you. i don't get tired from hearing you voice, because your voice is like a melody that you'd only hear in your favourite songs. speaking of your voice, you're really good at singing. if i'm lucky, i get to hear you sing. "
" your smile is so pretty, i love it when i see you happy. i love it when i play with your hair while you just babble about something that's been on your mind for weeks. " dongho ran his thumb across jaewon's cheek.
" it might seem weird, but your face is really cute when i find you passed out on my bed. i love seeing you flustered and confident. your never ending effort and passion is one of my top reasons why i love you so so much. i'm so happy you stumbled into my life.
" you're so important and you matter a lot to me even if you don't think so. that's why i love you." jaewon was flustered and surprised, he wasn't thinking straight until he smashed his lips against dongho's.
