Goodbyes and first day

"Come on Teresa you have to let Vick go or she will be late for her first week"

my dad tried prying my mother off me as she cried of how I was growing up and soon I would be gone forever

"come on mom ill be back to visit please let go I can barely breath!"

She soon let go wiping her eyes and speaking

"I know I know it's just that my baby is growing up so fast!"

I sighed giving her one last hug and kissing her cheek before saying my goodbye to my dad grabbing my stuff and gettin in my car to head to the college of my dreams. The second I was on the road I blared my music out of my car and started the two hour car ride Legacy university. After a long and I mean long two hour drive I arrived at my campus pulling into my parking spot. I saw my best friend wasn't in his spot next to me so I grabed my phone texting him

-Where are you samual!?! I just got here and your not we were supposed to meet!-

He texted me back a few minutes later saying he was stuck in traffic and I can head in without him and we will meet up later. I sigh groaning as I opened the door to my Car making sure I had my phone and keys before shutting and locking my car and heading towards the front office. When I walked in there, was a lot of people running around and a bunch of people who were here for there keys and schedule as well as professors running around. I soon got up to the desk the lady with a name tag that said Tessa smiled at me

"Hi and welcome to legacy I need your name and I need to see your ID you received in the mail"

I smiled back pulling out my ID showing it to her

"Victoria lock-heart"

she typed some stuff in her computer before grabbing a paper and key and looking back to me

"Welcome to legacy university Victoria your dorm room is room 216 have a great day"

I thanked her taking my stuff a blue tag with a silver moon and gold numbers that said my room number hung off my key I smiled heading out to find my room. After 30 minutes of walking around the campus I found the room walking in to find two beds empty one for me and whoever my room mate will be. I sighed wheeling my bags in and dragging in my boxes before beginning to set up Samuel texted me at some point and I smiled reading the message

S- hey Vick I got here a little while ago and got my key I'm in room 213 wbu?-

V- hey your three rooms away from me! I'm in room 216 just setting up and decorating before my roommate gets here is yours there?-

S- Yeah its this really nice girl I guess guys and girls dorm together. I like my partner good luck with yours-

I laughed a bit rolling my eyes at the emojis he added

V- thanks well have to finish unpacking Ttyl-

I turned off my phone making my bed and decorating my half of the room hanging my clothes and shelving my nicknacks. I sighed when I finished plopping onto my bed.
