Within 10 minutes they were completely ready to eat.
Jam set the pot on the table, then looked at his mother who had put bowls and forks on the table.
Reboot stepped back. "Want me to get Eraser?" He looked at Jam.
Jam nodded. "I Don't think he'd wan me to wake em- an- I-I don't wan em to try hurtin me or threatening it."
Reboot looked at the ground slowly. "He wouldn't hurt you again, I'd make sure of it. He knows better than that. He just loses his self-control sometimes."
Jam slowly nodded and then sat down on a chair at the table.
Reboot went up to the stairs and got up to his bedroom door...
Suddenly the images of that day came back;
He had just gotten home from checking on their Multiverse as he heard sobbing.
He looked inside quickly, seeing a smashed beer bottle in the kitchen, then, out of the corner of his eye he saw Jam, sitting on the couch, a cloth wrapped around his arm, stained red with blood.
Eraser was gone.
He panicked and went to Jam wanting to help his son.
He found that his arm had a horrible gash.
Jam was only 8 at the time.
Eraser and Jam would frequently fight... Since Jam got older he found he had to take care of Reboot and protect him, but when he was a lot younger he was the one needing protection. From around when he was 12 he started protecting Reboot more then Reboot protected him.
If it really didn't concern his mother, Jam always would avoid fighting and getting hurt by Eraser. Or getting him angry in general.
Reboot hesitated at the door.
He looked back down at Jam, who seemed fine at the moment just starting down doing something on his phone.
He sighed and went inside his room.
He looked at Eraser. He was still asleep, laying contently on his side of the bed snug in his blankets.
Reboot went and sat on the side of the bed by Eraser.
He put a hand in his cheek and gently rubbed his cheek with his thumb.
"Eraser?"
Eraser shifted a little, probably waking up.
"Racy, wake up." Reboot said with a soft and gentle voice.
Eraser rolled over.
Reboot slowly got himself on the bed and laid himself on Eraser. "Dinner is ready."
Eraser rolled again getting Reboot off of him. "Can you not?" He muttered.
"Sorry, darling, I have to feed you. So get up." Reboot said as he got off the bed and stood.
"You could at least, before forcing me to get up, check to make sure I'm not in deathly pain." Eraser turned and looked at Reboot
Reboot huffed. "I'd still make you eat, you've not eaten anything all day. I'm not letting you fill up on water."
"Boooots!" Eraser whined.
Reboot looked at Eraser... Then felt bad.
"Are you okay?"
"Mhm." Eraser nodded. "I think I just need you to give me a little snuggle!"
"Okay?" Reboot went onto the bed and slowly laid down, he hesitated before cuddling into Eraser and nuzzling his chest.
"Good boy~" Eraser smiled.
That tone immediately scared Reboot
"Dear god, don't." He pushed away.
He stood back up. "Okay, get up now, we need to eat," Reboot said as he went up to the door. "Please?" He added with slight guilt that how he had asked sounded rude.
Reboot went back downstairs.
He went to the table and sat down in his spot.
He saw his Jam was still playing around with his phone. "What are you doing?" He asked.
"Talking to my friend." Jam replied plainly.
Reboot felt a little puzzled. "What friend?"
"The one I hung out with yesterday?" Jam looked up at his mother.
"What's his or her name?"
"Mom, Stop giving me a billion questions when I mention a friend!" Jam snapped.
Reboot looked down...
He felt arms wrap around him from behind. "Aw, don't be rude to my angel." Eraser, who seemed to just suddenly be there purred.
Reboot and Jam both fell silent...
"Okay, so what's this?" Eraser asked referring to the food as he sat down.
"Jam made it!" Reboot said proudly.
"So you are doing something productive with your life." Eraser rolled his eyes.
Jam looked up at his father with an offended expression.
"Dear god, you take things so seriously." Eraser laughed.
Jam dished himself some food and began to eat it. "I think you're back to normal."
Reboot tried to ignore the fact that they were most likely going to start arguing. He gave himself some of the noodles and meat and started to quietly eat.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Eraser glared up at Jam.
"Insulting me, then claiming it was a joke. Showin' every way to hate me... An then u bein' weird with mom."
Reboot started completely blocking out their conversation and started to just think... He was still anxious. But he didn't know what he was anxious about.
He swore something was going to happen... Or, was something happening already? Maybe someone's hurting the Multiverse, without him physically hurting.
Reboot ate his food a Jam and Eraser argued... He eventually got fed up with them.
In the middle of Eraser's sentence, he stood up with his bowl and went into the kitchen.
He stood suddenly, as a way of showing frustration.
Eraser and Jam stopped and watched him for a moment.
Reboot set his bowl down and then turned and went to the front door.
He kicked off his slippers and put on his shoes.
Then without another word, he opened the door and left.
Jam and Eraser looked at each other.
They were shocked by the reaction Reboot gave.
Jam had finished his food... He got up and put it away. "I can do the dishes." He muttered.
Eraser nodded slowly and began to eat.
After he finished his bowl he set it on the counter.
He put his hand on Jam's back.
Jam looked at his father.
"Hey, you made dinner right?" Eraser asked.
Jam nodded.
"It was pretty damn good for your first time." Eraser said with a huff, he probably didn't want to compliment him, as he turned and left the kitchen.
Jam never got compliments from his father...
He smiled proudly.

[.~*Hours later*~.]
----______----
Reboot came back in the door.
He had checked on almost everything that could've possibly been wrong.
Though, there was nothing.
All the lights were off.
They must all be in bed.
Reboot pulled off his shoes and put his slippers back on. He looked in the kitchen, seeing all the dishes were done.
The table and counter were tidy, along with the floor.
Nothing really to do...
He decided to just go to bed. It was kinda late.
Almost 11:30 PM.
He went up the stairs and opened his bedroom door.
Eraser was sitting on the edge of the bed on his phone.
He looked up seeing Reboot come in.
"Boots-" Eraser seemed to cut himself off.
"Hey." Reboot smiled.
He went to his desk and picked up his pyjamas.
He changed pretty quickly and got onto the bed beside Eraser on his side of bed.
He seemed exhausted.
Eraser hesitated a little before talking again, "Boots, are you angry?"
"No? Why?" Reboot asked.
Eraser laid down beside him. "I don't know.. The way you left had me and Jam a little worried."
Reboot nodded slowly. "I just had something on my mind."
Eraser nodded also.
He could tell how much Reboot wanted to sleep.
He remained quiet and covered Reboot with blankets.
Reboot snuggled into them making himself comfortable.
"Sleep well, we're hanging with Marvul tomorrow." Eraser smiled at him.
Reboot smiled back then closed his eyes...
Eraser earlier was reminded what he agreed to with Marvul...
He didn't want to anymore.
He wanted to just message Marvul back and say no.
He wanted to just avoid Marvul forever.
Though,
If you made a deal with Marvul there wasn't a way out of it...
Eraser could only hope Reboot would take it well...
