"Mama...could you tell me a story tonight?" The young girl asks, turning in her bed towards her mother.
"Of course dear, what would you like to here?" The mother smiles down on her child, the girl that meant the world to her.
"How about...how about the one about the brothers again." She grins excitedly.
"Again? Well I guess this one never gets old." The mother jokes sitting on the daughter's bed, letting her girl rest her head on her knee.
"Once there where four brothers, the siblings rarely got along and always bickered, but they were siblings, so they all stood up for each other, that was until the eldest and strongest of the children chose one day to take the second oldest brother's favourite thing, a painting so beautiful that people around the city would come and look at it. The child who's belonging was stolen was furious, and in that rage they tried convinced their younger brothers to side with them, their youngest chose to fight with them, citing a hidden but long going rivalry, the second youngest on the other hand had no quarrel with the eldest, so in exchange for letting them stay neutral they gave both sides advice and help. Soon the fight broke out, but like always even when outnumbered the eldest sibling had a plan, they called upon their strongest ally to help them in their fight, along with that they convinced their mother to side with them. The fighting left the eldest battered and exhausted, but that was nothing compared to what the two that opposed them. As punishment the mother destroyed the painting, and locked the two siblings away, never letting them see the sky again." The mother looks down at the girl, listening to the young one dose off into sleep.
"Sleep well my child, tomorrow will be a eventful day." The woman gets up, laying her daughter's head on her pillow.
