"Everyone, listen up." Risotto's voice echoed the room a bit as everyone's attention of La Squadra Esecuzioni. "As the leader, I decided that I can't do shit around here alone, since basically you are all idiots, that is why I have a declaration to make, I'm going to choose someone to be the underboss." This so far got almost all of the group to have a smirk on their face, they all wondered, who is going to be the new leader?

Was it Illuso?

Was it Melone?

Was it Prosciutto?

It was definitely not Pesci.. Definitely not Pesci..

Then the unexpected moment happened.

Risotto rose his arm up to point his finger at the person. The group looked confused, he wasn't pointing to any of them, was he doing this because it was a way to pick somebody? All of their questions were soon answered. "(Y/N) (L/N), you will be the underboss of this group."

Everyone was in pure shock as they turned to look at the said person. Her figure leaning across the wall, the shadow of the wall covering half of her body.

Illuso's P.O.V.

'HER?! YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?!'

Questions were running through my thoughts, no, through everyone's thoughts! How could someone so silent, so emotionless like her get a promotion like this?! Wait.., he doesn't have a thing for her right?! RIGHT?! She may be the only girl here, but he shouldn't have feelings for any-

"You all are probably wondering why (Y/N), the only girl in this group, was chosen for a job like this." Risotto spoke, basically answering everyone's question.

No one's P.O.V.

"(Y/N) has not once failed at any job assigned to her, she's one of the reasons why we are the best hitman group so far, and nothing has changed since then, she was once even requested to work with the boss. I'm actually quite shocked myself to why she would deny such a request." Risotto continued. "When it comes to assassination, she has no hesitation whatsoever, no matter who it is, she handles the job like any one of us would. She is perfect for a position like this."

(Y/N) soon moved from her spot, walking past the group, she stopped for a moment. Her (E/C) orbs looked at all of them from the corner of her eye. Everyone just stayed in their spots, remaining silent, waiting if she was going to say something or not. Her aura felt so menacing, intimidating, and overawing. She scoffed a bit before looking away and headed outside to have a smoke. Everyone in the room started mumbling, looking at each other with concern or disgrace. After a few more moments of commenting about the decision, one of the members spoke up.

"Risotto! Are you sure you are making the right decision here?!" Ghiaccio exclaimed. "She is nothing more than a emotionless freak who has never said anything and always worked alone!! Like you said, she has no sympathy for anyone! What if one of us teamed up with her and she left us to d-!" Illuso cuts him off. "You don't know that! Obviously she has never worked with anyone before, so it could be a different story! Hell, I work alone sometimes so what's the damn proble-!"
