A Box of Surprises (Chapter 2)

Baekhyun stretched out his limbs as he was heading outside of their dorm. It was 6 in the morning. It was early to be awake because of their hectic schedule yesterday but still he manage to get up in this unholy hour.

He feels good. It was their free day today. Their manager-nim doesn't book any engagement for the group. It was a rare occasion for them as a national idol to be free of anything for the next 24 hours. It was an opportunity for them to get relaxed and to heal.

As an idol, they were always busy. Photoshoot here and there, recording for their new album, rehearsing, and promoting really caught up all their time. So he will make sure that this day will be a day to be remember.

Hehe! I think we will going to do eating show with Chan Yeol, Oh-Oh Thehun, Chen-Chen-Chen, Galaxy Kris and Zitao. I can't wait to fill my stomach with all those delectable foods. I bet Kris-hyung will be the one to pay all those food because he has no choice. Kkaepsong... Baekhyun grinned as he imagined Kris paying for their bills.

Baekhyun manage to exit to their dorm as he opened the gates and take a look at the surroundings. Winter is coming and he feel it. He feels the chill and cold so he decided to wear a warmer attire.

It was still foggy when he arrive outside. He cannot clearly see his surroundings. He smiles as he imagine himself that he was in the game of Silent Hill. It was like this. With a mist surrounding him.

I wonder if there's a monster going to attack me. He mused as he started to look around. He was still on their gates savouring the cold air when he took a look on the right corner and saw a big box beside the lamp post.

It was just an ordinary box. But curiosity strikes out in him so he slowly walked towards the package.

Hmmm...Wonder what was inside. He thought as he gently scrapes off the tape that covering the lid.

I hope there's a treasure lies behind those box perhaps a gold bar or a big cash so that I can retire and make the most of my life. Hehe...He jokes as he slowly unveil they covering.

Papaparampampam... pampaparampampam. He made a sound effect on his mind as he slowly unveil the cover.

So it was girl. Baekhyun sigh with dissapointment. There was no money or even gold bars inside but a girl. He will justvturn around to continue what he was actually planned out before and then he realized something. Wait a second. A girl?. He blinked. His eyes are wide like a saucer. Then Baekhyun peak again on that mysterious box and saw a girl sitting awkwardly on the box.

Is she dead? Baekhyun asked on himself. He was nervous. His heart Is pounding against his chest. It was really bizarre to find a person specially a girl inside a box. What if she really Is dead? He asked again to himself so to check, he scan the girl if their are some physical damage or a blood that indicate that she was slaughtered. But there was none.

He poked the cheeks of the girl with his pointing finger. It was still warm. He once again check if she was breathing. And he felt the air on his hand as the girl exhale as she breath. So she was sleeping.

Baekhyun sigh with relief. She's alive. So what will I do right now? Pretend that I didn't see her and walk out and return to my plan to go to the park or I will carry this box and show it to others. He asked and he started to get panicked.

He didn't know what to do. It was a difficult situation and he bet that this was the first and last time he will encounter that moment.What if she was a criminal who escape from her cell or maybe a psychopath. He nervously look at the girl. But she look so innocent and fragile like an... angel.

Hey Baekhyun! get a grip with your self. Maybe she is homeless and she hopelessly need you. So carry this box and show it to others so that you and the others can decide what will be going to do with her and maybe Suho-hyung can think of other solutions to remedy this problem. Baekhyun finally decided.

Then without hesitation, he reach out for the box and carefully carry it with him towards their dorm.
