I rest my forehead against his with my hands resting gently on his chest. I pull my head back to look at him before speaking as a thought crosses my mind.
"I can definitely promise that, if you promise me something too." I smirk.
"Anything." Niall says. He's now released me from being held against the car, but I'm still holding me hostage with his arms now wrapped around my waist; not that I'm complaining.
"Promise me you won't fall in love with any other girls you meet in airports." I tease, a cheeky grin tugging at my lips.
"There will be a lot of disappointed fans, but the one girl is all I need." He replies, laughing at my joke,
He places a kiss on my forehead before grabbing my hand and leading us inside and to our spot on the patio.
We devour a delicious brunch over lighthearted conversation, which was like medicine to the soul for both of us.
Niall told me what was going on in golf currently, and included a couple stories of times he's played or people he's met. We discussed upcoming projects for the both of us in the coming months. He mentioned a couple songs he's written that he's like me to listen too after I sign that pesky NDA that Niall is angry about.
I keep telling him that I'm not offended by signing it. He's annoyed because he thinks his management is implying that i'm not trust worthy. I know that's not the case. I work in the management industry so I understand the importance of an NDA. I have no intention of selling Niall out, but they're just a safety net. It's a quick signature on a piece of paper. I don't mind it at all, but seeing Niall get a little cranky about it is quite cute.
Part of me would love to be surprised by his future album, but I know there is no way I would be able to avoid hearing the songs before then and Niall seems excited to have me be part of the process and I can't deny him that.
After finishing our brunch, we came back to my house, deciding to spend our last full day together just the two of us relaxing and cuddling at home....ok, and kissing, who are we kidding?
We watched Grease, finally making it all the way through without falling asleep as we did the night of Nora's welcome home party.
After the movie, Niall switched the TV to BBC-sports to watch the highlights from the weekend. I know zero about sports, but don't mind him watching it as i'm laying with my head in his lap and mindlessly scrolling through my phone, not paying much attention to the TV anyhow.
This is the first free moment since the announcement that i've finally had the time to see the buzz about us on the internet.
There are a wide range of emotions present in the comments of his Instagram post. Thousands of 'congratulations' and 'we're so happy for you Niall!'s, with a few negatives sprinkled in because I guess it wouldn't be Instagram without them. I followed celebrity gossip for years as a teenager, not so much as an adult, but I still know enough to know how people react to this sort of thing.
