Chapter 1:

"Admit it Jordyn, you really want to go to that party!" Lindy stated, throwing her hands up dramatically.

I rolled my eyes, closing my locker and reclining against it. She just wouldn't let it go, what's the big deal I didn't want to go to a party.

"Calum's going to be mad at you for not attending!" She added.

I knew she was right, Calum was one of my bestfriends and if I didn't go to his party he would probably hang me the next day. Truth is there was a part of me that wanted to go, but the other didn't. Only because I knew my brothers friend would be there, and I couldn't stand being in the same room as him. No I don't hate him, he's just drop dead sexy and if we were in the same room I'd probably rip of his clothes and do him right there and then. It takes so much control not to pounce on him every single night he sleeps over. Hell it feels as if my brothers just doing it on purpose now.

I rubbed my hands over my face, sliding them into my hair. I let a loud breath out, finally giving in.

"Okay, okay I'll go." I murmured, walking past her. I heard her jump up and down in celebration before following behind me to class. I smiled at how corky and silly she was, even if she was a huge pain in my butt, I still loved her to death. She walked faster, catching up to me and linking her arm with mine.

"Wait for me after school, so I can help out with your outfit!" She said, excitedly.

I nodded, walking into AP Bio.

I unlinked my arm from hers before making my way to the middle row. I hated this class, I love science I just didn't like that it contained my ex boyfriend in it. He sat a couple sits behind me, and it was an understatement to say I was totally uncomfortable. Speaking of the devil, he casually walked Into the room, his posy following behind him. I won't lie and say he's ugly, because he wasn't. He had gorgeous dirty blonde hair, and these light green eyes. He was a walking ken doll. But he ruined the fantasy and now i want nothing to do with that douche bag. He strut past me, smirking down and winking when our eyes made contact. I rolled my eyes internally vomiting.

Once the teacher started the lesson, I zoned out. Counting down every second until the end of the day.

Lunch time came around, Lindy and I walked down the corridor listening to all the random conversations other teens were having. I laughed as one of the freshman girls turned down a Junior in the football time. 'She's going to regret that' I thought to myself. I looked up my smile quickly fading, just a couple of steps away standing flawlessly against one of the lockers was no other that Gilinsky himself. I tried controlling the butterflies attacking my stomach, it seemed to always happen when I saw him.

"When are you going to grow a pair and admit that you actually like him?"

I quickly turned, looking Lindy square in the face.

"Like who?" I lied.

"Don't act dumb! Gilinsky, you like him. You can't lie to me Jay, you have strong feelings for him." She stated.

I forced out a fake laugh, waving her off.

"I do not." I said. " now c'mon I'm hungry." I dragged her into the cafeteria, hoping that the subject on Jack would be dropped.

Praising god silently when she changed the subject to her boyfriend. We walked past the pizza line, grabbing a few slices and two bottles of water. We sat down on our usual table waiting for the rest of our friends to get here. Seconds later Brittany and Calum walked into the cafeteria smiling and chatting on their way to us.

"Hey babes." Britt spoke, talking a seat across from me. "Hand me my pizza." She added.

"So the party starts up at 9, you guys better be there!" Calum said, staring us all down.

We all responded with a 'we will' before returning to eat our food.

In the corner of my eye, I saw my brother and his friends surrounded by a herd of girls. The usual. But what caught me off guard was the fact that Olivia was sitting on Jacks lap, with her hands Locked around his neck. She was giggling in his arms, as a smirk took over his face. I didn't know why but I felt a ping of jealousy. Why would he choose to be with her, I mean c'mon it's Olivia, whinny, intolerable, high pitched voice Olivia. I rolled my eyes, looking away from the scene before they saw me looking, but it was too late. My eyes made contact with Jacks, his smiling instantly disappearing and his eyes softening. I looked down not wanting him to see any hint of sadness or jealousy in my face.

--

I hurried out of class as the last bell rang, I spotted Lindy waiting for me by the front gate, tapping away on her phone.

"Hey punk." I said, stopping next to her.

"Hey! Let's go." She smiled pulling me with her to her car.

I opened the door, settling down on the passenger seat. We talked about some things on the way to my house, but half of the time we were too busy jamming out to the radio.

Lindys phone began to ring, just as we stopped at a red light.

"Hello?" She said. "Wait what? Mom no I need to go to Jordyns.. Crap that was today.. Okay fine I'll be there."she huffed hanging up.

"Everything okay?"

She shuck her head.

"I forgot I had an appointment at 3:30 so I have to go, you're on your own Jay." She pout. "I really wanted to choose your outfit."

I laughed.

"I promise I'll make an effort to look good." I said, getting out of the car as she stop infront of my house.

"You better!" She yelled out, driving away.

I chuckled, turning around and opening the door. I walked in, everything was quiet which was unusual.

"Hello?" I yelled. "Jack, mom?" No answer. I shrugged it off, walking into the kitchen to look for food. I smiled once I saw a batch of my moms white chocolate chip cookies. I took a couple of them with me before walking up stairs.

I looked through my closet, munching on my cookie. I tried looking for something sexy but not too revealing. Right when I was going to give up, I saw a tight black leather skirt, with a gold zipper going down the middle, I smiled picking it up. I quickly found a black tank top, and a Ellen Jean jacket. All I need were a pair of red heels and I was set. I laid everything down on my bed before taking a quick shower.

I dried my hair, letting it be completely wet free, and began curling it. I smiled when I saw it turned out just the way I liked it. I wasn't all to crazy about makeup so I just applied mascara and eyeliner. A buzzing noise came from my nightstand, I stood up walking up to my phone and picking it up. I had a message from my brother.

'Jack: I'll be home in like 20 to pick you up, be ready!' It read.

20 minutes was more than enough time to me, so I quickly texted back a 'okay.' And went back to what I was doing. I searched my shoe rack trying to find my ruby pumps, they would pull my outfit perfectly together. I smiled in victory when I found them. I pulled off my big baggy shirt and shimmied on my tank top. I was in the process off putting on my skirt when the bell ringed. Crap was my brother here already? It was just like him to forget his keys! I zipped it up, and sprinted down stairs. I opened the door without checking to see who it was.

"I'm almost ready hold up." I said turning to walk up stairs.

"Jordyn."

I quickly turned around, stopping dead in my tracks. My body shaking.

"W-what are you doing here?"
