The city sounds fill my head as I hear people yelling at each other from their cars and honking their horns. I squint my eyes and sigh as the search for a dry place to stay the night continues, I didn't plan my life to be this way I don't think anyone is my situation does, it's just what happens.

After what felt like hours if searching I finally found a decent place to stay, it was a long alleyway hidden behind a couple of wooden and cardboard boxes. I sit down on some squashed cardboard and slowly let my eyes drift to sleep.

The cold air wakes me up as I force myself to wake up, I catch a glimpse of the sunrise over some tall houses and businesse buildings. I slightly smile to myself while I dust the dirt off of my t-shirt and jeans, my feet ache in pain but I brush it off and start my walk to school. I have no clue how I'm still attending school if I'm being honest but I'm beyond thankful for the school board letting me stay, it's probably just them feeling sympathy for me but I'll take it. On my way to school I get a lot rude and disgusted looks, but I'm very used to it. I'll never get used to the things they call me at school that's a completely different thing.
