We had just got done hunting at this gun club on the bay, we had got all are stuff put in the back off the truck and when we started heading home we went to a slough that usually has ducks in it so we pulled in. We had got are guns and loaded them with are shells. When we got all loaded we walked down the dike till we got to the last corner and my dad saw a few teal so i got down on my knees and i started crawling over towards the teal. I got within twenty yards of them and boom i pulled the trigger, i hit two but one died and the other one got crippled. After the other one flew away my dad sent my dog after the teal in the water, when she brought it to use we realized it was a blue winged teal some of the rarest birds to fly through hear. My dad said they don't usually come hear the just fly right up to Canada. My uncle has been hunting for about ten years and he has his own land he is also in a hunting club and he has never shot or seen a blue winged teal.
