To my surprise, my mom actually wanted to live to this really gloomy town; Nockfell. It's a real shocker to me, since she was looking at houses in New York, sure, it's still a gross place, but it's a lot better than Nockfell.
Oh well, at least we have a nice little apartment. We live in 401, right beside another teenager like myself. Sometimes I want to go over and greet him, but then again, I don't. From what I already heard, he's a little bit of a creep, well I mean, never judge a book by a cover, but you know...
Deciding to just sit around in my small room, I look around my room, which is full with unpacked boxes. "Hey, Y/N! You should go introduce yourself to the neighbor!"My mom shouted from the other side of the door. "It would be good for you to make friends, you know! There's some more kids downstairs on the second floor, but be a little careful around his parents. And then there's one down in the basement."She informed me.
I groaned, slowly getting up off of my bed. "Alright, mom!"I yelled, the annoyance laced through my words. "Where'd you put my shoes?"I asked my mom, standing in front of the door. She pointed to the closet, right besides the door. "Thanks."I said slowly, moving towards the closet, opening it, slowly.
Grabbing my black and white converse, I slip them on my feet, just sticking the laces into the shoe, instead of actually tying the laces. What can I say? I'm lazy.
"See you mom, I'm out."I swing the door open, and walk out of the room, slamming it shut, following it with a flinch, coming from yours truly. "Well I guess I should check out my next door neighbor..."I sigh, not really wanting to do this.
Knock, knock, knock.
I hummed in amusement, they're not answerin-
"Oh, um, you're the new neighbor, huh?"I was met face-to-face with a blue haired, mask-wearing boy. Not trying to be rude or anything, but he kinda looks like a girl. It's his voice that gives him away.
"Y-Yeah! I'm Y/N! N-Nice to meet you."I stuttered, kind of shy, but trying to put on that persona that I don't give a shit. "Well, I just wanted to introduce myself, gotta go, bye-"I turned around to leave, but he grabbed my F/C sleeve.
"N-No, wait. Let me introduce you to myself and Larry."He spoke with a soft voice, pulling me into the apartment. I didn't have a choice in the matter, so I just went with it. Once inside the little apartment, I saw a long-brown haired boy, that looked like a huge stoner. This should be quite interesting...
"Oh sweet, dude! The new chick!"The boy, who I'm amusing is Larry stood up and shoved his hands in his pockets. Once again, not going to lie, he's kinda cute, but you know...He's probably dating this blue haired guy.
"Uh, yeah. Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N..."I stumbled a little bit, and looking up at Larry. "So, um, you're Larry?"I asked with a smile forming on my face. I looked over the boy in the mask, he nodded and I could feel his smile on his face.
"Yeah, totally, dude! This here is Sal, or Sally Fisher."His voice was deep and sounded like your natural stoner. Compared to Sal, his voice is a plus one. But Sal is pretty cool, I mean, he just kinda snatched me and dragged me into his apartment, but that's cool I guess.
"Cool cool."I shrugged, earning a chuckle from Sal. I look over with an arched eyebrow, and my head tilted. "Hmm? What's up?"I asked him, sitting down on the couch, assuming that I could sit down, no shame!
Sal, grabbed my wrist, and signaled Larry to follow us. "We should head down to Todds' place, Larbear."He suggested, opening the door, stopping slightly, letting go of my F/C sleeve. "See you dad!"Sal shouted and quietly closed to door, with Larry, Sal and I standing outside of it.
"Is Todd the one who lives on the second floor?"I asked, slightly curious if this is the kid that my mom was taking about. Larry nodded, and had a small smile on his face.
Sal shrugged his shoulders. "He's super gay, so if you're a Travis, get out of here."He spat. Who's Travis? Does he have homophobia? I bet he's religious, 100% if he is.
"Oh yeah, dude. He's the worst."Larry added, making a scrunched up face, obviously cringing at the thought this Travis guy. "If you see Travis Phelps in the halls, just punch him, okay Y/N?"He said with a slight chuckle, before realizing that I wasn't laughing at all. On the other hand, Sal was giggling and slapping his knee.
I rolled my eyes, obviously not amused with this situation. You can't just go up to someone, and punch them for no reason, plus, I have no evidence that this Travis is homophobic. "Yeah, yeah, whatever! Let's just go to Todds'"I groan, changing the subject.
Then, I realize; there's a church that's called Phelps Church. That must be owned by his father, or mother! So he definitely is religious, that's pretty cool in a way, no wonder he's homophobic.
Despite all of that, I suddenly really want to meet this Travis Phelps. He peeks my interest.
