I sigh as I hand the last ice cream cone to the family of 4

"Thanks. Come again" I smile at them

I sigh as I see the popular group of kids open the doors and walk in

"Oh god" My friend Kim looks at them

I look down and try to hide as I see my crush Harry walk inside

He talks to some people and walks over to the counter

I pace around the little booth and try to hide

Kim pushes and turns me around "Talk to him"

"I can't" I retort

"You've been waiting for him to talk to you, now's your chance" She grins at me

"Fine fine" I mumble at her

"Hi. How may I help you?" Nice Zhyzhia. Nice

"Hi. Can I get 4 vanilla comes please" Harry says, not looking up

"Okay" I say bluntly

I scoop the ice cream out onto the cones "That'll be $5" I hand him the cones

He hands me he money "Have a nice day" I say back

"Smooth. You said nothing to him" Kim looks at me

"What am I supposed to say?" I yell over the loud customers

These are going to be the longest day of my life

"Let's close up!" Kim skips to the door and locks it

Kim walk over to clean the tables, and she screams and looks at a paper

"What is it?" I walk over to her

"Eeeeeeeep!" She jumps up and down

I laugh slightly and I see a note in her hand

I take it out of Kim's hand and I look at it

I've liked you for a Lon time and I've never had the guts to tell you. Will you go out with me? Meet me at midnight for a really special surprise

"He's got a surprise for you! Oh my god!" She coos at me

"Go. I'll close up!" Kim pushes me out of the door

I sigh and let me heart take over. I walk outside. Wait, where do I meet Harry?

I look around and I see him waiting by his car with a rose

"Your so sweet" I smile at him

"Thanks" He opens the car door for me

As he walks around to the driver seat, I gasp and try so hard to keep calm

He gets in and looks at me

"Where are we going?" I ask him

"Anywhere. As long as I'm with you, I don't care"
