Unexpected

Chapter 3.

When Vicky and I arrived at the little cafe, it surprised me that this was on campus. The campus was quite modern, while this cafe looked like it was build in the 1960's. The walls on the outside of the small building were covered with flowers and little, cute lamps. "I think this is better at night, when all the lights are on." Vicky said. We walked inside and sat down at a table. A waiter came towards us and I recognized him immediately. "Hi Ashton!" I said, sounding like a little school girl.

"Hi Kate! Changed clothes I see?" he chuckled.

Vicky, who looked extremely confused, stared at Ashton like he was some kind of trophy.

"Yeah, coffee stains aren't really my style." I answered.

"I think it suited you," he said, laughing. He had the cutest laugh i've ever seen. "but what can I get for you ladies?"

"A water please" Vicky said. "And a chocolate muffin, if that's possible."

"Of course, and what about you Kate?"

"Well, what do you recommend?"

"The carrot cake. It's delicious." Ashton smiled.

"Well then carrot cake it is." He nodded while writing down our orders.

"I'll be right back with your orders!"

After Ashton left to get our orders and Vicky turned to me.

"You know him? Why didn't you tell me? Is he your boyfriend?"

"Wow calm down the questions!" I laughed. "I ran into someone this morning and he spilled his coffee all over me. Ashton helped me get up and showed me the way to our dorm, and to answer your last question, I already have a boyfriend. His name is Alex. He lives in my hometown."

"Really? Show me a picture of him!"

I got my phone out of my pocket and showed a picture of me and Alex. 

"He seems nice" She simply answered. 

After we talked about how we would go shopping after this, Ashton came back with our orders. 

"A muffin and a water for this lady, and a piece of carrot cake for this lady." He said smiling, again.

"Thank you!" Vicky answered.

Ashton walked away to help other customers and Vicky and I started eating our food. "God, this is so good!" I said with a full mouth. "Here, taste it!" I said and Vicky took a bite. Her eyes widened. "Holy shit! I hope my muffin is so good as well." She took a bite of her chocolate muffin and made some kind of moan. "I want to eat here every day" I said her. "Me too, I just think i'll become fat if I did. I already gained weight the last few weeks." 

"You shouldn't care. You're so skinny?" I said honestly. I was quite jealous of her figure. She was very pretty. "No offense," Vicky started "but I'd rather have your curves than my flat chest." She said while taking another bite of her muffin. I never was the skinny girl, but I knew I wasn't 'fat' either. I think I got that from my mom. She is curvy too. "Let's just swap" I grinned. When we finished our food, Vicky asked Ashton for the bill. He came back with the bill and when we paid and were about to leave, he called us over.

"Kate! And..." "Vicky" I answered for her,

"Kate and Vicky, I am throwing a poolparty on Saturday. Like to come?"

Vicky almost choked when he asked. "Yes! Ofcourse! We'll come!" she answered.

"But we really have to go now so I'm gonna need your number for the adress and stuff." she said. I laughed, knowing she saw this as her chance to get his number. After we exchanged numbers, Vicky and I left. 

"We can go to the mall with my car." Vicky said.

"You got a car?" I didn't have one. I always drove my moms car when I needed to go somewhere. 

"Yeh it's in the parking lot near our dorm. Come on!"

Hope you enjoy the story until now. It's still kind of the 'prologue', since she is new and stuff, aha.
