"dark and thirteen floors? I'm glad I moved out" Storm whispered
"guys it's French themed, embracing our culture a bit. just give it a chance" My dad explained
"it's nice" I shrugged
I walked over to the kitchen which matched the theme—except the random picture hanging of a tongue. my dad has very weird taste.

"this place is actually kinda dope" I heard Ty say behind me
"nah it is. it's just weird but not in a bad way"
We walked back into the living room to see the moving people now walking out the elevator with some of our boxes.
"okay guys as you noticed there were three elevators downstairs but only one up here. you can only take the one on the far left to get up here. The person behind the desk with automatically call the elevator for you, other residents can't use it unless given permission by us. guests have to check in at the desk too" My dad explained
"what if there's no one at the desk?"
"there's always someone there. if anything one of us will send it down but that won't be necessary. Micaiah your room is on the left side upstairs and the guest room is on the right"
Tay, Ty and I started to head upstairs upon completion of his sentence. There were four doors upstairs. One on the right, two on the left and one at the end of the hall. Ty and I went to the left while Tay went to the right—the guest room is a fancy way of saying his room since he's our most frequent "guest."
My room was empty, like not a single piece of furniture in here. The walls on the other hand matched those of the ones downstairs.
"guess you sleeping on the couch for the night" Ty joked
"funny" I said sarcastically
I walked over to the door on the left side of my room and opened it. Turned out to be my new closet. This one was more spacious I'll admit, I don't even have enough clothes to occupy the space to be honest.
