Chapter Two Back In My Life

~JUNES P.O.V~
I got on my skateboard and tried to skate away, when I then felt someone wrap there arms around me,I felt my feet go off the skateboard and I was able to release myself.

"COLBY!!!" I screamed and turned around
"What that's how we use to mess around" he said
"Yea used to"I said with a little of anger in my voice

~COLBY'S P.O.V~
Me and my mom moved back to our hometown, Kansas City, we moved away for
"A new beginning" but it didn't work I made sure of it.

I woke up and talked with June and her mom on video chat, I guess her mom never told her we moved in next door.

I had ran outside to catch up with June, I ran and hugged her off her skateboard, she got mad, and All I could do was laugh because that never changed of her she still looked cute when she got mad.

~JUNE'S P.O.V~
Colby laughed and I rolled my eyes, after five seconds we both laughed and he went in for a hug, and of course I hugged him back although he left I still missed my BestFriend

"You've changed Brock" I said as I hugged him
"You've changed to A LOT" he said with a joking voice
I gently punched him and we both laughed, that's when my ex pulled up
"Hey baby"he said
"What do you want Westley"I said annoyed
"I want to know why your hugging this asshole"
He said with anger in his voice
"Excuse me who are you to boss her around" he said with a serious voice
"Westley, just get out of here"I said
"Fine I'll see you at school princess" he said with a smirk and drove off
"He your boyfriend" Colby said
"EX boyfriend" I corrected him
We both laugh
"Come on let's go to school" he said

We then walk to school and we catch-up, Colby told me about how him and his ex broke up and how he started skateboarding and playing different types of sports.
I told him how I started learning about space and how I did skateboarding, singing, and dancing.
I'll admit I was pretty nervous because I haven't talked to him in so long, and I thought he might change and see me how other people see me, a person who doesn't belong.
We then arrived to school after talking and talking it felt like when we where kids, we walked into school and I took him to the office, we walked up to the lady in the front desk and told her who Colby was.

"Hey I'm looking for the principle I'm supposed to get my tour of the school and my schedule"Colby said
"You must be Colby Brock, Yes the principal will be out here soon"the lady answered
Colby then turns to me
"I'm going to head to class I'll talk to you late Colby"I say and slowly walk away
"Wait can you stay here I might need someone to give me the tour"he says really fast
"I'm pre--"
"OMG Colby your back"a girl interrupts me
"Yea I'm back but if you don't mind I would like to talk to June, ALONE"Colby says annoyed
"What you didn't miss me"the girl says
"No I didn't I only missed June"Colby says
"Well then I thought after all these years you would finally want to talk"the girl says and walks off
"That was Ashley wasn't it"Colby says
"Yup that's her"I say annoyed
"Colby Brock"a voice says from behind us
"Yes that's me"Colby answers
"I'm Principal Banks nice to meet you" says while shaking Colby's hand
"So I'm going to give you your schedule and I will call a student to give you the tour"he says looking at some papers
"Can June give me the tour"he says pointing at me
"Ah June MacLaine, of course she can y'all have all day up to lunch, and I will inform your teachers you will be giving a tour"the principal says handing Colby the papers
"Great let's go"Colby says with a smile
"Sure why not"I say with a smile

We then walk out of the office and we begin the tour
"So what's there to learn about the school"Colby says
"Well first I guess I'll just show you around and tell you where everything is"I answer
*time lapse end of tour*
"And that's pretty much everything you need to know about the school"I say
"Honestly I couldn't focus" Colby says
"So I just showed you where everything is and you just didn't listen"I say
"Not my fault I got distracted with your beauty" Colby says with a smile
I try not to blush so instead I turn around
"Hey come on you don't got to be shy"he says and turns me around
"Look I have to admit I like you I know we just saw each other in so long but I guess I always liked you"he says placing his hand behind his neck with a smile
"Colby umm...I...I got to go"I say and walk away, I was surprised he didn't stop me but if I had to admit I had a little feelings for him but not now, not like this, he just came back, plus I can't fall for my best friend, not now, not ever.
