"That is the cheesiest piece of bullshit anyone has ever said to me."
Richard could barely hide his amusement. The look on Christian's face was surprising, even to me. I'd never had the guts to say anything so bold in my high school existence, let alone my life. But the shock didn't last long.
“Ooh, fiesty.”
“Christian, stop teasing the poor girl. That’s not nice!”
I looked up to see a pretty girl with the same green eyes give him a loud slap across the arm. He acknowledged her with the retaliation of a playful punch. It seemed to me that they were very close to one another, sharing friends and a pair of genes.
“Don't mind my twin Christian, he thinks he's such a lady killer. I’m Natasha.”
She greeted with me an enthusiastic handshake.
"Hi, I'm Audrey."
"See, even her name is cute!" Christian exclaimed.
Richard laughed quietly and went on to taking out his stuff.
"But let's get back to you, new girl..." Christian said, with a lazy smile on his face.
Before Christian could say another word, Natasha intervened with a question about my siblings.
"Just one, he's a senior this year."
"What's his name?"
"...Markus Thorne."
"You mean, the Markus Thorne? He's your brother?"
"Yeah, Markus is my brother."
"Wow, your brother is, like, the hottest and sexiest and most gorgeous guy, ever."
"Uh, thanks, I guess?"
It wasn't surprising that my brother had commanded the attention of so many girls. Could have I expected any less?
"Shame he already has a girlfriend though." She frowned a little.
"Who's the lucky girl?"
