chapter one- breaking apart

Romans p.o.v

me and Virgil has been dating for a while now, nearly a year. it had been really rocky, a lot of arguments. i knew it was gonna end soon but i was scared. what if he gets the others to hate me. he wouldn't?

he had come home from work not in the best mood. I'm gonna make him dinner. he got in the shower when was making a home made pizza for him and another for me.

after a while he came out "do you know where my hoodie is? and what you cooking?" he asked me coming to sit down with long leaved top on. he normally weared long sleeves to hide the scars on his arms. "i don't know and making home made pizzas, well trying." i was doing okay with the pizzas. just burnt the crust a bit. i know virgil was getting annoyed that he couldn't find his hoodie

"after i finish cooking ill go look for it. it has to be here somewhere." he just nodded.

Virgil's P.O.V

i truly did love him. i know he didn't think i do. i just find it so hard to show it. i wonder when this will be the end

Time skip~

it was about 11 at night now. we had found my hoodie but at this point Roman was begging me to wear it tonight. "please virgil! just this one. i like wearing your hoodie!" Roman pleaded. "no! ive already said that before why are you trying so hard tonight?" i growled. i could see tears in his eyes. "p-please..." he sounded so sad and broken. i shook my head. "I'm done. i cant do this anymore! why do you hate me so fucking much! i only tried to be nice to you! and all you give me back is shit! leave!" he shouted. i was so scared.

i just got up and grabbed my night clothes going out. where am i gonna go? maybe Patton can help. i rang him nearly in tears. "P-patton, can you come get me from Romans. we had an a-argument and he kicked me out." i started sobbing quietly down the phone. "yes I'm on my way! ill be there in like 5 minutes."

i got to Patton's apartment. i just fell asleep on the couch.
