Pug managed to slip past the frenzy of bullets and soldiers. Pinning herself to the wall she crept closer to the entrance of the bunker in pursuit of the army’s leader. Looking around to make sure no one was around, she slipped in through the front doors quietly. Once Pug entered the old Charlestown checkpoint, Bunker hill, she was met with a dusty smell and a dark atmosphere. In the distant room ahead, a faint voice could be heard. She creeped forward, staying in the shadows, hiding in a cutoff of the hallway. What were they saying?..
“Major Major.. Bunker hill is under attack. I repeat MAJOR we are under attack… -5.14.5.13.25./ 1.18.13.25./ 8.1.19./ 20.1.11.5.14./ 3.15.14.20.18.15.12./, 19.5.14.4./ 13.5.19.1.7.5./ 20.15./ Game underscore File colin Copper semi-colin 3151616518 dot chr”
The character paused suddenly. The silence filled the building, it lasted until a light creak was heard from the other side of the hallway. A small whisper came from the main room, not long after a thin shadow was seen against the wall. Tag your it.. Tag tag your it~. The music filled the halls as if to drown out their movements. If Pug was unlucky, it would muffle a well placed gunshot. She thought for a moment, she could use this to her advantage.
“Running through the parking lot, chasing and he wouldn’t stop, Tag, your it, Tag tag, your it.”
Pug had heard that before, and slowly crept, feeling the heels of her foot, slowly slide to the front of her foot. The steps echoed, but not enough to give her away. She slowly slid her hand down her leg, down the tip of her pants and into her boot, pulling out a small switchblade knife. She brought it out, and clicked the button, watching it shine as it flipped out of it’s plastic casing, keeping the deadly sharp contents inside. Pug smiled, creeping closer to a guard, she plunged the knife into his neck, and put her hand over his mouth. Pug didn’t care if the man had bit her hand, it would increase her adrenaline, her drive, her will to keep going. The blood leaked out under the blade, as the somewhat tall woman, leaned back, letting the body flop on the floor. His life would not be in vain. Pug stood up, saluted the Orange Army salute quietly, and continued on her rampage. She had hummed to the music, seeing it was actually a delightful song--
Until she remembered what it had meant.
Until she remembered… All that had happened. She could feel the blood drain to her hand, as she gripped the knife, flinging it at the wall in the corridor in front of her, watching it stick to the thick drywall coverage.
From the main room just a few paces ahead, a small yelp of surprise was cut short. Someone watched the knife pierce the interior. The music grew louder and continued to drown the rustling from the character inside. It wasn’t enough to mask the soft footsteps rushing up the stairs. The figure had panicked, fleeing to the safety of the second story of the building.
Pug had looked back, sensing movement. Her eyes were dilated and shaking. Vibrating, showing a sign of insanity.
Yes, she was in fact, insane.
It had undoubtedly been a proven fact. There have been multiple files, accounts, and just seeing from the way she had killed, down to the very core of herself had it been set in stone. And she embraced it. She felt her fur stand up, as she walked back to the guard, looking over him, seeing what he had to offer. He had a considerably larger and more sturdy knife than what Pug had, so the stripped him of it. She then grabbed her switchblade knife, cleaned it on his shirt, and slipped it back into its hiding place. Walking towards the entrance she had just thrown the blade into. She walked, feeling that sensation of her feet slowly padding down the hallway. As Pug turned the corner, before she could even process the layout of the main room a click sounded right next to her foot. A weight tugged against her leg, Pug looked down, a thin trip wire was tied to each end of the wall. Prepared for the impact of the trap she backed up and looked around. Nothing happened, except the lights flickered briefly before shutting down. The building was pitch black, the wire had triggered the main generator. The power was out. Pug had no choice but to press forward, she switched on a dim flashlight and held it in her palm. Looking around, she was on high alert, waiting for someone to come and attack.
