Today was the day. After waiting for 15 years, it finally happened. I walked down the aisle of the church to the wonderful love of my life.
I hold his hands with a smile on my face and tears of happiness running down. The priest looks at him and asks,"Do you, Cameron Thomas, promise to love and stay with Maria, through sickness and in health, for poor or for rich, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do," Cameron says.
"Do you, Maria Lamar, promise to love and to stay with Cameron, through sickness and in health, for poor or for rich, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do," I say.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride." Cam pulls me closer and kisses me like he's never kissed me before. I must be the happiest person alive.
