Spider-Man's POV

At this point I had no idea whether I should escape or stay. I was like 300 feet up in the sky, that was bad. I was out of web fluid, also bad. Almost died, really bad, saved by iron man, awesomely good. Being taken by Ironman to unknown helicarrier to do who knows what... yeah I'm gunna categorize that as bad.

I glance behind Ironman to see Thor, Falcon, and War Machine, A.K.A James Rhodes. I do my research. Behind them was a quinjet holding the remaining avengers. Why would someone send the whole avengers team after me?

Whatever it is, I wasn't planning on sticking around. Looking back at how I was seated in Mr. Starks arms, I calculated the best way to successfully squeeze out of his grasp and climb onto his back before he could do anything. Then there was the hight predicament. Without web fluid I was as good as a pancake.

...

...

What I COULD do is escape from Mr. Starks grasp, climb onto his back, open up the mainframe, retire a couple things, find out how to successfully hack his suit, then fly my way down to the ground... but that's a long shot. By then the others would have stopped me or Ironman could have grabbed me again, or I could end up hurting Mr. Stark.

Can't risk it. After a few minutes of contemplating I decided on just jumping. Winging it is what I usually do, and it usually works out fine anyways.

I looked up to see how much time I had left. We were close enough to the helicarrier where I had about two or three minutes to make my move.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, slowly moving my hands underneath Mr. Starks arms. Then, in one quick, swift motion, I forced his arms up and around my body, letting me drop from his grasp.

"What the hELL!" He screamed and dove after me, along with Thor, Falcon, and Rhody. I threw my arms out and spun around, leaving my back to the ground, facing Ironman. He was coming at me at an alarming speed, but not fast enough to catch me before I reached the ground. I smiled to myself and spun back around, looking at the ground below.

Three skyscrapers, one close enough to grab ahold of if I really try. Pressing my arms tightly against my waist and clapping my legs together, I zoomed towards the hopefully life saving skyscraper.

"Man of Spiders!" Thor shouted over the roaring wind in my ears. I didn't turn, no time. The skyscraper was becoming closer and closer with each breath I take.

"Wait!" Someone screamed behind me, but I was already reaching for the metal structure.

The second my fingers touch the unforgiving metal, an unbearable pain shot up my arm and raced into my chest. I couldn't help but let out a scream of agony as I slide down the maze of bars throughout my descent to the ground. It took a couple tries, with the momentum from the fall still pulling me through all the metal twists and turns, until I finally got a grip on one bar, hugging myself close to the cold object. Breathing heavily, I inspected my arm. Swollen and hard to move, broken.

'Aunt May is gunna kill me' I groaned internally and bit back tears as I made my way all the way down to the deserted streets.

Wait

Deserted?

I looked around at the empty shops, the occasional white paper drifting in the wind was the only cause of movement I could find.
