In San Francisco, at Pier 39, you get off the bus and step on the brown wooden dock with holes big as bottle caps, then you see a chewed up piece of gum bright green; still fresh on the floor. You feel the breeze of the cold wind and smell the ocean. Once you look up you see a place that looks like New Orleans, with christmas lights hanging on the stairs and people standing at the edge of the rail. On the right side you see a big sign saying Hard Rock Cafe with red bright lights flashing. Turning your head to the left is a small store selling merchandise like green sweater, grey baseball jerseys and key chains with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge. While you walk straight forward you hear the thump of people walking and the conversations between them.
Up in the sky is a grey and white feathered seagull, flying back and forth threw the pier. While walking around you start to notice people with big coats and huge scarfs around their necks. Then out of nowhere you hear a loud bark coming from the edge of the dock. Walking towards the end of the dock and looking down you see more than 40 brown sea lions laying down on wooden platforms. Then you look more to the right and see fish swimming down below in a huge bundle trying to escape the sea lions.
Walking away and going towards the center of the pier you encounter a huge carousel with people on it laughing. Next, to the carousel was a electronic store with a view of everything inside since the store was all out of windows. Soon, it has started to get dark and my friend is walking towards me with a villina ice cream cone. He is wearing a blue sweatshirt and grey pants that had a lot of pockets on it. You talk to him and see a small detail on his hands, it is small coin that was gold and silver because the paint had taken off. You stand there looking at the people, observing them and noticing that they are taking pictures.
Once it turned dark, all the lights started to look even brighter because every single store had turned on the lights, it was like a street fair. Looking down to tie my shoes there is a juice box slowly dripping down into the water. Next, to the juice box was a white paint stain that looks like it had been there for years. The weather had increased and now it was freezing like when the air conditioning is facing straight at you. On a brown wooden bench on the left side of the dock is a couple that were both matching in outfits, they were sitting down and talking in a different language were you wouldn't understand a word.
All of a sudden you look up and see the sky so dark; the stars so bright, then you feel a drop of water hit your face. It starts to rain and the winds have increased were you need two sweaters. One the roofs of the stores, you see water start to drop off of them and land on the wooden docks below. Clouds began to turn a dark grey color and the smell of fish started to increase. Your bandmates are there and they are all walking towards you and giving you a hug since it was really cold.
You and your classmates start heading back to the front were the entrance is located and your band mates start to chant. You could hear them saying " Can't stop, won't stop.... gotta gotta win who are we? panthers, what are we? Regiments". Once, you reached the front, looking forward you see a huge crowd and hear a young twenty year old playing the saxophone. People are dancing and singing along to the music. Then a kid with curly hair is running around dropping hot cheetos on the floor because a small little brown yorkie was chasing him all around the crowed in a circle. Then a tall chubby guy calls out your name, you turn and see it's your band teacher saying it's time to go. Walking away and entering the black and white charter bus, you look back and see people laughing, dancing, playing and having fun all around just like a family party.
On the charter bus with your bandmates you talk about how much fun you guys had and then look out the window. Once looking out you feel like the most happiest person alive since you got to spend time with them.Your friend sits next to you, who is soaking wet with a white cup in his hand and steam coming out of it. You smell the hot chocolate and see a drip going down the cup. Finally, looking out the window of the bus you see a family in a group of strangers who aren't even related.
