Secrets

Chapter One

The next day had finally arrived, Haruto was excited to meet Secrets at this café called 'Asumé'. He hasn't been there himself yet so this should be quite the experience. The smaller male had put on a over sized yellow sweater that slightly hung on one shoulder, he had slipped into a pair of blue skinny jeans and he slides on his back vans. He grabs his bus pass, house key, wallet and cell phone. As he walks down stairs he puts his wallet into his back pocket along with his phone and bus pass, whilst his house key was in his front pocket. Before he walked out the door he notices his mother passed out on the couch with a bottle of wine in her hand, he softly sighs and walks over to her. He takes the bottle carefully from her grasp setting it on the coffee table, he puts a pillow underneath her head and covers her up with a blanket. Then, Haruto walks into the kitchen with the wine bottle in hand, he put the cork back on, setting it back in the fridge. He pours a glass of water for her and grabs a couple of aspirins, setting them on the coffee table for her. He then wrote a note on a sticky note saying 'I'm going out for coffee with a friend, i'll be home soon if plans change i'll text you.' He signs his name, sticking the note next the water and aspirin. He starts to head towards the front door, he unlocks it, quietly opening it and stepping outside. He locks the door, slipping his house key back into his front pocket as he starts walking to the city bus station.

After awhile, he had arrived to the bus stop and was on the bus, on his way to the café. He sits silently towards the back of the bus, his forest green eyes were looking out of the window as he had his phone in one of his hands. On his phone he had a GPS tracker of how close he was to the café, every once in awhile his eyes flickered to his phone then back out the window. The small male can feel his anxiety slowly build up inside of him, he doesn't know why he is so nervous about meeting someone he see's everyday. Maybe it's because they never actually had a conversation together unless you count a small wave with a friendly smile. He see's his stop approaching and he turns off his phone slipping back into his pants pocket, the bus comes to a complete stop, the doors open allowing people to get on and off. Haruto gets off the bus, as he does so he thanked the bus driver politely and spots the place where he's suppose to meet Secrets. He never understood the name of the café until he enters it, as he heard a little bell as he opened it, the sign on the counter said free seating as his eyes looked around a bit he realizes it's a cat café where house-trained cats roam freely and the customers are allowed to pet them if they approach you first. He scanned the place a bit seeing if Secrets was already there or not, surprisingly he was seated at a booth in a corner by a window, as Haruto began to walk over there his forest green eyes lock with Secrets's crimson red ones, he see's a small grin form on the other's full pink lips causing Haruto to have a soft smile form on his small pink lips as well.

As he sits across from Secrets, the taller male starts talking, "I'm glad you came part of me thought you were gonna stood me up." He says followed by an awkward chuckle, there was something off about this Secrets guy. But however Haruto was to oblivious to see it, "I-I would never stand anyone u-up and thank you for inviting me here." Haruto responds as he nervously fiddles with his sleeves under the table, after a bit of awkward silence a waitress comes by to take their orders. Secrets orders a plain black coffee whilst Haruto went with sweet ice tea, then the waitress walks away to put their order in. "Not much of a coffee drinker..?" Secrets asked softly, "I never really g-grew a taste for it.." Haruto replied softly. Secrets softly nods, "I can understand that..It can be quite bitter at times- Ah, sorry i'm rambling..So um..Tell me about yourself.." Secrets says as he looks at Haruto. "W-Well, i recently move here from Russia..I haven't really explored much of this town, considering i've been here for almost a year...Heh.." He says a bit awkwardly, knowing that Russia isn't really a good place to be. Secrets just nods softly in understandment, "Maybe i can show you around sometime.." He offered, "That souds lovely." The smaller male replies with a soft smile.

Soon enough their drinks came by and they sat there drinking, talking and very light flirting. Haruto was having a good time, getting to know Secrets and vise versa. Secrets on the other hand was slowly developing feelings for him, granted he had only know him for a few hours. Soon enough the date was coming to an end, Haruto and Secrets did the check dance to see who would pay the bill. Unfortunately Secrets grabbed it before Haruto could even pull out his wallet to pay. "I-I'll get it next time..I-If there is a next t-time.." The other male said as he was starting to become flustered. Once Secrets was done paying the two of them get up and get out of the booth that they were in. Secrets leads the way out into the parkig lot, he held the door and everything he was a true gentleman. "T-Thank you for the date...I-If you considered this a date.." Haruto says whilst looking up at the other male. " "You're welcome, i'll see you at school." Secrets replied, "Y-Yeah i'll see you at school." The smaller male replied.

They parted ways, one went for his black Chevy truck and the other went for the bus stop down the road.
